I don't think we rule anything in or out, they've shown a tendency to follow their board and get their guys.
If they love Farley they'll pull the trigger, I'd bet the tackling concerns them though.

There is a lot of CB talent depth in this years draft. Initially, I was targeting CB in the first, but now I'm leaning towards multiple CB picks after the first round.

Has been my fav CB in college for 2 years now, he's going before 12 unless he performs bad at his pro day, he's so smooth. Great size, speed, ball skills, reminds me of Patrick Peterson.

Dream scenario for me would be Farley in the 1st and Kary Vincent Jr in the 4th-5th

So far, the only real knock I can see with this guy is we did not get to see him play last year. He has size, length, speed, and college production. I really like the guy. If we resign Trent Taylor, and Bosa recovers, this would be a good pick. The only area I see Surtain is better is with his tackling in open field. Surtain looks solid all around, but doesn't appear to have top end speed.

I doubt Trent Taylor has anything to do with drafting anyone

Yeah, not sure I'm tracking the logic there.

He is all over the place in mock drafts, from 5 to to 25. What gives?

He didn't play this past season would be my guess

Nice catch. Meant Trent Williams, because if he walks, we most likely draft a tackle at 12.

Torn ACL in 2017 and a back injury that required surgery in 2019. Just typing that out has him sliding a little in my book. Only has one season of dominant tape before sitting out last year for covid. He sat out for Covid because he didn't want to risk losing his father after losing his mother. He came to this realization after being in the practice facility with about 100 people huddled up without masks.

Couldn't find a thread, and I think that is criminal. Why has no one been high enough on this guy to start a thread? What am I missing? Guy seems to have everything, from size to speed to production, and we need a corner, outside of sitting out this year. I'm starting to consider this guy at 12. What's your take on him?
Perhaps it would be helpful if you explained in greater detail what you like about him, maybe provided some examples. This time of year we have a lot of folks popping in that may not be as familiar with the draft and various prospects. The more info you provide, the more useful the thread becomes to them.
there, added some context since you called me out for my weak post

CB1 and it's not really close for me
kid does not move like he's 6-2 205. He's only been playing the position for 2 yrs and is already pretty technically sound & very fluid.
he's got Jalen Ramsey upside imo.

Agree completely, if he somehow makes it to our pick I hope the niners take him, would be great to have a young star CB for years.

I really hope they don't draft a CB in the top 20. I think he's the best guy (and I won't hate it end of the day) I just don't think this defense is built around our CBs.
