Cade Johnson-WR-South Dakota State

Another player that has caught my eye. He reminds me of a smaller version of Malcolm Mitchell who played at Georgia and then for the Patriots. Nothing particularly exceptional but he's a smooth route runner, great hands, dangerous with the football after the catch, he was super productive and consistent in college. Undersized overall, not super physical but consistently seems to work his way open. A standout performance at the Senior Bowl answered some concerns regarding his level of competition in the FCS. I think he could make an ideal slot receiver for this offense. Smart, steady and dependable, especially in the redzone. Can also contribute on special teams.

Oh look Phoenix found a Dakota player he likes.

He impressed me at the Senior bowl, and I love his separation skills, not sure he'll block well enough for Kyle, you'd think we'd accept that out of a rotational guy but it seems to hurt Richie James.
Above average but not a can't miss imo.
He's got some Tyler Lockett to his game....brought him up in the WR thread. Wouldn't mind at all. Good add
