2021 49ers Draft Virtual Team Visit Tracker

He's still a freshman but I want us to draft elias ricks LSU next year. The kid is a beast and going to be a star. Not only that I met the kids grandpa. Who happens to be a HUGE niners fan. Very proud of his grand son and for good reason. I'm predicting the kid to be a top 5 pick. I hope we don't pick that high but if we do pick ricks

I see one o-lineman on that confirmed board. No way we're slam dunking Jenkins at 12. Have they seen enough of this ol group to think- after a possible Williams resigning- this group is just gonna take a Sr/Jr year leap and just gel? They're all pretty young and- I know- it takes time for olineman to develope but....

Maybe Im thinking in checkers and theyre thinking in chess. Wouldnt be the first time but where is the first round talent on this list? Im always late to the party but Jenkins and Rondale Moore? Who else?

If the covid virus stays with us, i can see scouts having to scout multiple extra years instead of just concentrating on the draftees last year.

I can see a niner scout keeping an eye on Elias, when scouting this years crop, just in case we have to do virtual meeting again next year.

Thank you. If you see new reported visits then please add a reply and I'll update the initial post.

Maybe at some point you could use MadDogs Big Board as a reference as to expected rounds these guys might go. Or another trusted board. I've found strong connections to the actual picks to the quantity and quality in the past.

Here's an example:

ER - 10 / 1-3, 7 (6) - This reads as the FO had 10 connections to ER's projected to go in rounds 1-3 & 7. And 6 of those are expected to go in rounds 1 or 2.

Basically, this tells you ER was not only a priority in volume but in quality. A high priority.

So how much did they follow their quantity/quality? Pretty close...

2019 Pre-Draft Player Connections Breakdown:
Position - Total / Projected Round Ranges (# Projected to go in Rounds 1 & 2)
WR/TE- 21 / 1-5, 7 (9) - Drafted 3 from this pool of 21. Deebo Samuel (2), Jalen Hurd (3) & Kaden Smith (6)
ER - 10 / 1-3, 7 (6) - Drafted Nick Bosa (1)
S - 6 / 1 & 4 (1) - None
DT - 4 / 1, 3 & 5 (1) - None
CB - 8 / 2 & 7 (1) - Tim Harris (6)
LB - 14 / 3-5 & 7 (0) - Dre Greenlaw (5)
FB/RB- 4 / 3 (0) - None
OL - 4 / UDFA (0) - Justin Skule (7)
P/PK/LS - 5 / UDFA (0) - Mitch Wishnowsky (4)
QB - 1 / UDFA (0)

It looks like 'where' they ended up picking these players aligned as well +/-1 round too even ST.

Create a custom 49ers jersey
I don't like hearing that I see another "reach" pick.
i don't know anything about him, why did he only play 4 games last year ?

Opted out midway through the season citing his mom's health.
5'10 170lb? Seems like a change of pace type of back. He can't carry the load with that kind of frame. Better be day 3 if SF drafts him.

I like Pooka. Dude runs outside zone with great assertiveness and presses the hole hard. His breakaway speed makes it easy to see why the 49ers are interested.

but god damn, 175 lbs.

Dude also hits women. I'd rather we didn't go there again.

Oh. Yeah let's not go there. F drafting a RB, just have Bobby Turner find the next hidden gem.
This is great work, hummbabybear. I started something similar but almost found it to be a futile effort based upon the fact that...

- All Senior Bowl prospects had a 'speed dating' session with all 32 NFL teams. So, any prospect that attended essentially met with all teams. Haven't confirmed this occurred with the any other all-star games.
- Virtual meetings parameters have minimal restrictions. Each team has the ability to have 5 1-hour virtual sessions with each prospect.
- No private meetings. No private workouts.

Based upon all that, I think we will all be on information overload and could potentially be duped. Good thing for each team is that meeting with any particular prospect is not a dead giveaway to others as to who they might be interested in.
Article on another site, but they do not list any additional names that are not already on our list.

Looks like the 49ers were one of five teams that actually met with Pooka Williams at his Pro Day. Not sure if that is a designation you want to add as well.
