Definitely wont. This guy was insane. No chance arm tackling this guy. You got to get in front of him and completely wrap him up, and even then...

Physical runner that doesn't lose yardage, creates yards after contact, breaks tackles and regularly gets you into short yardage situations. He was the star of the game yesterday for Chicago. You could see their offense take a major dip when he went out.

Every damn year and it's usually not surprising who the later round gems.

I love RBs, but they are so dependent on scheme/blocking

Especially our scheme. Literally anyone can average 5 yards a carry under Shanny, which is why it's so mind boggling that he would draft one in the 3rd round... and not play him.

Not only Sernan. But also the Utah RB. And the FA money to Coleman and McKinnon. We've invested a ton and yet predictably it's a guy like Mitchell in later rounds

Mitchell, Wilson, Mostert, Breida. The most productive backs have been journeyman players and late round/UDFAs.

Prioritizing RB over CB, a reliable #2 TE, OL or even WR makes no sense to me.

Im sure Shanny knows his success with no name backs, which means he saw something REALLY special in Sermon. He's a 3 down back, an excellent block, excellent pass catcher and a hard, durable runner with a lot of wiggle who gets stronger as the game goes on.

I can't imagine what he did to piss off Shanahan so much. It's truly mind boggling.
