Thinking same thing but maybe moving to 6 or 7. Trading Jimmy and drafting rookie is gonna help sign a free agent RG or safety. Maybe even some DL depth

Bpa. First 15 picks this year can go anywhere and everywhere with how the pros are predicting it. 5/6 qbs taken before us means there is gonna be massive talent at 12. I also get the feeling Shannahan is not looking to draft a qb early so....

If TE doesn't fall to 12 which it won't for Pitts then I go with T or load up on Defense

Zierlien has us taking Farley at 14 after a trade with Minnesota. Could happen. Also Daniel Jeremiah has him ranked #5 prospect overall so to get him at 14 would be killer.

Broncos signing Darby & Fuller might take them out of the CB hunt, Farley definitely became more likely

I wouldn't it's what I expect because you add to your strength and it's what lynch and shanahan believe in. Then you can hunt qbs all game long and have fresh pass rushers in the 4th quarter. I expect the niners to draft a edge pass rusher.

BPA especially if somehow Pitts was there. I think our FA was solid enough to where we aren't desperate to draft a certain position in the first round. But I think priorities are gonna be DB and QB, with the needle moving towards DB.

Some of the latest mocks identify those talents and teams that don't absolutely need to draft a QB now will pass (Mia, NYJ,Atl, Phi) so one I saw even had Wilson available at 12.

The question is if Wilson, Fields, Lance are available will we take one ?

I think some of those teams are going to bluff to drive up the trade value of their picks to get a QB needy team to bite

Here's what I'm thinking...we trade down with a team looking for a QB or OT at 12. We pick up an extra 2nd round pick.

1st round pick - EDGE
2nd round pick - WR or OG/OT
2nd round pick (from trade down) - CB

To put some names to these picks

As free agency unfolds I'm getting the vibe that they plan to get a QB in the first. If Fields or Wilson make it past Atlanta I think there's a deal to be made with Cincy at #5 or Philly at #6. Then maybe flip JG back to NE for one of their 4th round picks.
