Someone else to keep an eye on. Played both tackle and guard in college but fits best at guard in the NFL, particularly in a scheme that lets him get out and move. When you watch him play, his athleticism and agility really stand out. Doesn't have overwhelming power but he plays with good fundamentals and bend for a taller guard, seems to struggle with speed on the outside, overall I like him as a fit for the 49ers at guard in the middle rounds.

Newman's initial quickness and specifically out of his stance moving to his left was OUTSTANDING on tape and it was put on display here. You will see this jump off the tape when you watch him at RT in 2020 for Ole Miss.

He does a nice job in pass pro here against #Alabama DT Christian Barmore. Counters several of his moves, his feet look good.
