I usually read this forum for knowledge on the 'top100' prospects that may be targeted by the 49ers. Instead, I know a ton about 3 QBs and barely a thing about any other prospects.
This 2nd rounder is going to be interesting. If it's OL, great, I doubt many will have an issue with selecting OL. If it's CB, I'm really interested if the 49er's profile for CB has changed. A new DC could bring a change in what they look for in CBs. Supposedly the EDGE class is not good. Don't need a LB with this pick. They've selected a WR in the 1st or 2nd round in the past three drafts (Aiyuk, Deebo, Pettis). I'm thinking that stops for this year but who knows.

Trade back up for Najee!

Phillips is definitely that High Risk, High Reward type of pick.

No on Phillips. Despite his talent the guy was nearly done due to medical retirement. I don't think he's going to last in the NFL.

I feel like most fans are so furious with the report of the "likely" 1st round selection, the rest of the draft is a complete afterthought.

If Landon Dickerson falls to our 2nd round pick do we make the move and start him at OG while he learns the position next to Alex Mack?
I am taking Radunz and trading Mcglinchy.
The front office has focused so much on pick #3, they forgot about the rest of the picks.

Trey Lance and then his teammate
I am really torn on this. CB is probably the biggest need. Eric Stokes would probably be one of the top ones available at this pick, and looks very tempting. IOL is probably our next biggest need, and Landon Dickerson could be amazing. Yes he's had some injury issues, but he could step in at guard right away and take over at center once Alex Mack retires.

But the thing I can't stop thinking about, is how amazing of a fit Travis Etienne would be in this offense. A lot of people think we are set at RB, but when you look at all of the injuries last year, there are some durability concerns. And yes Shanny has done amazing things with late round and undrafted backs, but Etienne could take this offense to the next level!

If all three were there, my head would probably just explode.

I think gallman keeps us from drafting a rb high unless najee harris falls out of the first round.

In the 2nd round, I'd take a pass on any of the Georgia cornerbacks. I wasn't impressed at all at either of their seasons.

I think offensive line or edge rushers should be considered at pick 43. DBs like Elijah Molden or Jevon Holland should probably be in that conversation, too.

As far as BPA, if by chance Zaven Collins or Najee Harris falls to 43, which is doubtful imo, then I think they should also be considered.
If we draft Mac Jones my 2nd round is going to be a pint of whiskey.

Love to take either Molden or Holland but there are really a nice group of DBs that should be good fits. Really hard to say which DB they take.

Zaven Collins is a really interesting player to me, he would be a SAM and pass rusher, could get really creative with him. He is going too early I think for the Niners to get

I like Elijah Molden because of his versatility playing a slot and really looking like a natural safety. Could finally be the Earl Thomas DB we've been looking for.

Zaven's tape was some of the best I watch out of all the prospects. Not just highlights, but everything. He just stood out on every play. His versatility, size, speed, IQ. He's a faster Donta Hightower.
