1st Round Busts?

This is funny. Especially considering the 49ers might draft one of these quarterbacks.
I'll be bold and go out on a limb on two guys who seem a bit stiff in how they play two fluid positions.

Surtain and Rousseau. I can see smaller, twitchy speedsters giving dat work to Surtain outside and Rosseau having trouble generating pressure when forced to use an array of moves against better O-linemen.

Watching the Miami pro day, I can see "bust" with Rousseau, especially when Phillips was doing the drills after him. The different in technique and how smooth Phillips was compared to Rousseau. I think Rousseau may have dropped out of the 1st round.

Trey Lance due to position, high draft pick and expectations. He may take some time and you will still have a primarily running QB like Hill in New Orleans.

Worried about Farley's medical condition but we won't see what is really there.

Surtain is solid but top 10?
If he locks down the starter position for years and earns a second contract, that's not a bust. That may not live up to expectations, but that doesn't automatically equal bust either.
Kwity Paye, Sam Cosmi...

Either of the Georgia corners.
Anybody the 49ers picks at 3.

My fear is that Justin Fields slow release time will make him a bust in the NFL. If he can't get rid of the ball quicker, then NFL defenses will blitz him all the time.
I think Zach Wilson will be a bust. He's going to break if he doesn't get above 220. Not many QBs under 220 last.

Agreed with this. I was not impressed with any of them last season.

You know, the game film really shows how slow his release and mechanics are. The tapes don't lie.
