Nobody knew about any of the meetings we had with Lance either, unless DJ was just throwing BS out there about it. But I haven't found anything reporting the meetings with him

Yeah he makes it completely clear Kyle doesn't discuss things about the workings of FA/draft with Simms though. They're bros doesn't mean Kyle is gossiping to Simms lol.

I think Simms learned his lesson after 2018 where he spilled the beans on McGlinchey. That's why I'm skeptical of what he says now, and why I think it's actually Trey Lance that is the apple of Kyle's eye.

Kyle Shanahan made it clear that he's less concerned with finding his "prototypical" quarterback and more focused on finding an elite player, which he believes will be there at three overall. #49ers
