I would imagine it would be Higgins/Chase on the outside with Boyd in the slot but still would be lethal, Pitts would be a perfect fit too since they need a TE badly

Maybe it's cause I haven't watched Chase much but I'm a little surprised they're really not gonna go with the franchise LT for their franchise QB? I mean you can find WRs and they already have two really solid ones. Idk

Same. They have two pretty good receivers already and this draft is pretty WR rich overall. They'll be able to find quality receiver prospects in the 2nd and 3rd. There's only Sewell though.

You speak like Sewell is a SURE thing...

YOU may wanna look back at the 2004 NFL draft and how everyone used the same logic to convince Oakland to draft he LT over the WR.
Lock's time in Denver might be running out.

Miami trying to get too cute, sit your ass down and take Pitts or Chase but then again if they're in love with Smith or even Waddle I can see it but hard to pass on either of those 2 if they're available at 6
The thing I'm going to be watching closely is how much the microdiscectomy Caleb Farley has is going to cause him to slip.

He's a top 10-15 talent in the draft and arguments could be made that he's the best DB available. If he happens to slip to the back of the 1st or into the 2nd the 49ers would have to think about making a move to get him. So, they better do their homework on his medicals so that they are ready if it happens.

I agree, but there in a very weird (but good) situation. Jonah Williams is their LT and they just drafted him in the first a couple years ago. Can they take Sewell and move him to either RT (and put Reiff at RG) or put him at LT and move Jonah to left guard? Of course but it really depends on their evaluation of Sewell who seems to be falling in the eyes of some draft experts. Since this is such a crazy good draft for OT and IOL I can see why they would go Chase who some people think is the best WR since Julio to come out then grab your best rated OL with their high second rounder. My real question is if Chase/Pitts is on the board for Cincy at 5 what should they do? They are in a real great position to improve their team, definitely one of the teams I'm following in the draft to check out their moves.

I believe I seen an article that came out right after we traded up that we talked to Farley like 3 times. I can for sure see us getting aggressive to trade up for him if he's still there in the 20's, Najee Harris too

We should trade up and take them both. Send in the note with both of their names and just say we're taking them both and they can't stop us.

Seriously though, what are the odds Lynch and Shannahan went to Alabama to watch Harris and not Jones?

9ers do have a history of trading up in the back of the 1st would love it if we drafted Farley he might be able to make an instant impact on the defense

something about this picture tells me the Bengals are drafting Sewell

I've read it might be down to him or Chase.
