All of these projections are based on one guy saying he heard thru his "sources" that the Niners are going to pick fill in the blank. Then people repeat it and it becomes the dominant thought. None of these guys knows any more than any of us because Kyle and John aren't saying anything. Just because they go to a pro day or comment that this guy or that guy looks really good doesn't mean anything. They get asked by reporters what they think and they respond. What are they going to say? You think they are going to say he sucks and doesn't fit my system? They are going to keep us guessing right up until they announce that pick.

I was thinking about this. I for one will not be surprised if that somehow happens. It seems like a wtf move we would do that no one knows about. But logically I don't see it happening.

Dave Lombardi (great Niner follow btw) speculating on Twitter that we only have about 4-5 roster spots available so we will probably be aggressive trading throughout the draft such as trading back into the first.
Jags are posting some draft leadup vids on their YouTube where Baalke and Meyer are heavily hinting at AVT if he's there at #25.
Cowboys posting there draft zoom cutup sessions (actually pretty cool) on YouTube and said they need a CB badly, probably between Surtain/Horn. May trade up for Pitts since Jerry loves him.
