Still prefer Green to him based on value and scheme fit...but wouldn't hate the pick at all. He's a projection to center though, never played a game there.

Doesn't happen often, but I agree with NY on Green primarily due to the scheme fit, but Meinerz definitely has that potential to be scheme versatile.

Oh I think Meinerz fits, Green a little more...I just think he's a projection at center. Both guys would be starting RGs anyway.

Can Green play center? Not sure about that but Meinerz has the versatility I'd want. I think his upside at center is through the roof and at guard not so much.
I just really want both of them because of their athleticism, run blocking ability, and so NC will finally be happy.
Finally got around to showing my Dad the Quinn Meinerz workout video. Safe to say he has a new favorite player in the NFL draft.

How does a prospect train to play center in the @NFL?

Now my favorite player in this draft. What a beast.
Quinn Meinerz was 4.95 and 4.99 on first 40 attempt and 4.92 twice on second run (shown here). He's now officially big AND fast. 💰💰💰#QuinnsDraftStartedInMobile pic.twitter.com/sCMqGKCJUH

43 seems rich, but 102 feels too late. 49ers may consider moving back from 43 or moving up from 102 for Meinerz.

I'd trade down into the 50s and take him late in the 2nd. Use the added pick on a CB, edge rusher or WR.
