Quinn Meinerz-C/OG-Wisconsin-Whitewater

I hope we get him in he 2nd. He can learn for a year under Mack and be our starting center for years to come Richburg is toast.

The self-motivated Meinerz was one of the best stories of the Senior Bowl, where he more than held his own against competition from bigger schools. At 320 pounds, he's much bigger than the 49ers' recent centers, but he moves his weight well, as shown by a 4.86-second 40-yard dash last month. Meinerz has gotten attention from zone-blocking teams like the 49ers and power rushers like the Dolphins and Steelers.

Yep
Turned out to be a monster.

Quinn Meinerz, Denver Broncos
Meinerz has quickly become one of the most destructive interior blockers in the game, capturing the first All-Pro nod of his career in 2024. The 26-year-old guard has notched an 83.0-plus PFF overall grade in each of his past two seasons, and he finished 2024 as the only guard to earn an 80.0-plus PFF grade as both a run blocker and pass protector.

I'm shocked at how poor the league still is at evaluating these small school lineman, I get questioning the tape, but then they show out at the Senior bowl and still go later than they should. I don't count North Dakota State as a small school anymore, they're becoming a factory

There are gems to be found at other division levels. University of Wisconsin - Whitewater is actually division 3. But like North Dakota State of division 2 they have won many, many Championships. So if you were to scout a program at that level this is the one. Not to be confused with the Wisconsin Badgers which are division 1 in the Big 10 Conference. Now 18 teams as they keep expanding.

I have some relatives and friends in that state and have been on both campuses. University of Wisconsin Madison Badgers - D1. University of Wisconsin Whitewater Warhawks - D3. They are about 43 miles apart. I've watched football at both places many times before.

People are still bringing uptrend Lance trade, which I've said doesnt bother as much. I can see the vision of what they were attempting.. Its been our whiffs from rounds 2 - 4 to bother me more. This line could realistically have Creed Humphrey and Quinn Meinerz.

So true...and probably a SB victory along with it.
