Where would you be willing to draft Najee Harris?

Hmm, there really isn't a lot of similarities between their games, imo. Trent was way undersized for his weight and you could see that the lack of speed would be an issue in the NFL. Harris is massive with that strength and speed combo, not to mention how agile he is. I see more of a Steven Jackson or maybe a Laveon Bell than I do a Trent Richardson.

Definitely see the Bell comp

Dang, that's not a bad comp. Their actual running styles are different(nobody really runs like Bell, tho), but everything else is comparable. Bell was amazing during his best years with the Steelers. The dude was a nightmare matchup problem for DCs with his ability as a runner while essentially being a big-bodied WR out of the backfield. I think Harris has that type of potential with his route running and natural soft hands.
He just does everything at a very high level. And a couple of underrated things he does, runs low behind his pads, doesnt take big shots and gets stronger as the game goes on. Hes not flashy or obnoxious, he just puts in work. He doesnt play like Gore, but he reminds me of him if that makes any sense.

He was actually the most impressive player in that blowout win over OSU.
I'm watching the Najee Harris: Road to the Pros series on YouTube, and it's pretty damn clear Najee badly wants to be a 49er. He said that he planned to flake on Nick Saban and his commitment to Alabama when Harbaugh came to see him because he loved Kaepernick and the 49ers. Then in the next episode, he's training for the draft with a damn 49ers mask.

Unless we take him At 3 it would be a miracle to get him.

New episode out. Dude's definitely rocking that mask around.

I doubt we can get him where we pick in the 2nd round. But I would be happy to get him. He is a big back with power and speed. But Shanahan prefers little guys who are track fast. So I don't know if he would even take Harris. It's interesting that he likes the 49ers though.

It is, and interesting that he thought we might take him at 12, coupled with the reports that we were considering Edwards-Helaire of we'd stayed put last year and Kyle might want a RB more than any of us think.

Etienne is interesting to me as well. His stock is fairly low by all accounts due to a dip in production last year, but that O-Line were nowhere near as good.

Both would be amazing picks at 43 for me, we'd be hard pressed to find better players, even though need and positional value would point us elsewhere.

I would take either one. Etienne is more of a Shanahan guy. More slight of build and super fast.

Mac Jones thread is at a thousand pages now, so its gotta happen. Those are the rules.
I need this guy in a 49er uniform now. It's super necessary.

Dude is going in the first rd. No way we get him. I'd love to have him but I think it's a pipe dream
