This kid can be what we expected Hurd to be.

Nor do I, but even if you add 4 tenths it's still great at his size, I normally add a tenth or two.

You know Kyle is fapping
He is so tall and fast the 40 looked fake

Great minds think alike. I just included him in my final mock plan for the year. Tweener prospect but I like him playing our Jordan Reed role on offense. Additionally, he offers more upside as a red zone threat. Samuel-Harris-Kittle-Aiyuk-Mostert with Fields/Lance under center is going to be lethal.
I have to wonder why he only caught 49 passes in 2 seasons in college. That size and speed should translate to better numbers. Something's wrong here.

That's why he isn't looked at early.

Kittle had low production too.

Kittle played in a dry, pro style offense that was run heavy and where receivers rarely put up big numbers. Harris played at UCF in a pass happy spread offense(370 yards passing per game) with a top end QB in Dillon Gabriel.

Its a valid concern to wonder why all that freakish athleticism didn't translate into greater production. He's received interest from the Rams and Jets as well so I have no doubt that he'll be high up on the 49ers radar also but he's quite raw in many ways from what I've seen. Seems like a project guy that you put a few years of work into and hope for the best.

He could be an interesting pick late in the draft...but, the WR I'm hoping Lynch drafts is Bateman. Excellent size, speed, range, hands. Harris isn't big enough to play TE in the NFL...so he'll have to be a tweener, aka WR/H-Back.

Dk Metcalf didn't put up big numbers in college either. I'd take a flier on the athleticism size combo for sure if he was there in round five
