Draft Day Scenarios

One thing I keep wondering, why the extreme secrecy about the #3 pick? It could be that the front office is just close hold, but, what if?...

Scenario #1 - Jets might actually want Fields???
Don't Rule Out Zach Wilson to the 49ers at Pick No. 3
Hypothetically - Salah told Kyle that hes probably taking Wilson, but might want a bigger QB that can move behind their porous oline. Kyle hopes that maybe, Wilson falls.

Scenario #2 - Maximum Flexibility?
Kyle really does want Jones, but the #3 pick was the best trade value, compared to a trade for a lower pick at a similar price.
If thats the case, could the Niners trade down and recover some trade value? Draft Fields, and auction him off? Get Jones later.

Scenario #3 - the obvious
All of the chatter is correct. The Niners moved up for Jones, Fields or Lance. Boring, pages of chat on this.

Scenario 1: they draft Mac Jones. I laugh and change the channel knowing we're screwed for the foreseeable future.

Scenario 2: they draft Fields and I am happy with hope for what the future of the 49ers might be.

scenario 3: that draft Lance and I'm a bit confused as to why over Fields, but I am happy and hope it works out. Aka thank god not Jones.

Yeah I think they new Wilson was never going to happen. 2&3 are plausible ideas.

Jags - Lawrence
Jets - Wilson
49ers - Fields

Possible scenario:
Jags - Lawrence
Jets - Fields
49ers - Wilson

Unlikely but interesting scenario:
Jags - Lawrence
Jets - Wilson
49ers - Trade back and/or take Kyle Pitts

I'll stick to my belief that the only reason why we moved up to #3 is because Saleh told Lynch that the Jets will be drafting either Lance or Fields... and Wilson will be the choice..

but if it was up to me, I'd take CHASE...

Best scenario.....Lawrence is not drafted #1 and all hell breaks loose.

NE is seemingly focused on Justin Fields. ATL could be a trade down partner.

Could be gamesmanship by the Pats as well. Rumored deal to trade to 8 with Carolina if Fields is still there. If the 9ers don't take him, he could fall right into Uncle Bill's lap and the Jimmy deal would be off as well.
