Day Two Wishlist?

True but as I said earlier, the gap between 2nd and 4th round CB's is a lot smaller than the gap between 2nd and 4th round edge rushers or even the gap between 2nd and 4th round OL's. I'd try to get another good edge that can take a solid amount of snaps pressuring the QB and it will make things easier for the secondary. That or add another OL to help protect Garoppolo, hopefully he balls out and the 49ers get a nice return for him, allowing for a more substantial investment at CB.

At receiver, a couple other names for the mid rounds are Tamorrion Terry (FSU) and Jaelen Darden (UNT).

There are but guys like Jenkins, Meinerz, Humphrey, that tier is going to going to run out pretty fast in the 2nd. The ones that you can just plug and play as starters in their rookie seasons.

I've narrowed it down to 4 guys I would be thrilled with at 43 overall

Elijah Moore
Teven Jenkins
Azeez Ojulari (assuming medicals check out)
Assnte Samuel Jr

Creed Humphrey, Meinerz or Teven Jenkins. Invest in o line and keep Jimmy upright next year (and Lance in the future) so he can ball out. This gives us the best chance to win the Super Bowl next year AND it only helps Jimmy G's value which could land us a second or maybe even a first round pick next year.
Paulson Adebo is my number one. Fits perfectly in our system.

IOL is in need for an upgrade.
Humphrey
Meinez
Jenkins
Later I like G Hutcherson from SC

A starting caliber linebacker would be nice
Owusu-Koramoah
Ojulari
Snowden from Virginia. Range of LB to Edge.

TE
Tommy Treble or Freiermuth are perfect fits.

A trade down could lead to my draft crush Tamarrion Terry. I also like Terrance Marshall jr
Assante Sana Squashed Bana Samuel Jr
If we come away from with some combination of these player I'd be happy:

dillon Radunz
Wyatt Davis
Quinn Menerez
Kendrick Green
Tyson Campbell
Kelvin Joseph
Jevon Holland
Tay Gowan
Ifeatu Melinfonwu
Asante Samuel Jr
Dyami Brown
Elijiah Moore
Terrace Marshall Jr
Azeez Ojulari
Trevon Moehrig
Jamar Johnson
Brevin Jordan
....In no particular order
Everything that is being said about the secondary and Offensive line could have been said last year as well. Did they do anything about ether in last years draft? Not really 5th rounder on O line. So why does everyone think they will do anything this year? I think they need help at both O line and depth in the secondary They will probably draft a WR and RB.

we still have 8 picks and I don't see that many available roster spots at this point.
i would take a starting guard if there or one of the CB's intact I think we should take 2 CB and hope at least one of them sticks.

Unless a player comes along that we absolutely can't pass on falls, I'd like to see a trade down at #43 with combined with trading up some later picks to carpet bomb the 3rd and 4th rounds. There should be a ton of good players at positions of need in that range.

Still a lot of OL guys in that 2-3 range that I wouldn't mind them grabbing. Radunz, Cosmi, Little, Christensen, Eicehnberg, Carman, Green, Trey Smith.

If the OL is deep as suggested, CB is a priority unless the value is not there. RB should not even be in the conversation until late Sat. Lets take advantage of the coaches abilility to turn low draft pick RB into solid starters. Edge rusher should also be a priority since we seem to value front 7 over DBs.

Hasty and Walters are garbage. Mostert and Wilson are injury prone and on the last year of their contract and Gallman is on a 1 year deal. Javonte Williams, Michael Carter, and Khalil Herbert are much more talented and would be on cheap deals for multiple years. Sometimes it's just worth it to draft an RB in the first few rounds.

That would be incredible. Get OL, DB, WR, EDGE, and RB in the 2nd-4th.

All things being equal I prefer the more talented CB over the more talented IOL, but if what you say is true regarding the talent gap between 2nd round and 3rd round CBs, then let's get the IOL that can eventually play Center today in round 2. I guess that would be the college Center that can play at guard for 1 or 2 years until Alex Mack retires.

CB has kind of flattened out honestly. Stokes and Newsome were my two favorites for the 2nd and both went early. The gap between the CB's you'll find in the 2nd now and those you'll find in the 4th is way smaller than the gap between edge rushers or OL.
Ahhhh gotcha ,, I was wondering why I wasn't seeing any CB's listed for 2nd & 3rd rounds ,, where does that put Asante Samual jr at , as a prospect ?

Two. Although it might make sense to package the 4th rounder and one of their 5ths to move up for another 3rd rounder.

155 and 172 should get them up to 125ish. Could come away with three impact players with 43, 117 and 125!
