Myjai Sanders || Edge || Cincinnati

Player: Myjai Sanders
Height: 6'5''
Weight: 260 lbs
Position: DE/Edge
College: Cincinnati

Early preseason rankings has Myjai individually ranked in the top-50 prospects for the 2022 NFL Draft. He's explosive, got an excellent get-off, and uses his hands very well. When I was watching some of his scouting clips, it reminded me a little bit of Aldon Smith at Missouri. Unsure if they match in wingspan, but Sanders has length. He played pretty damn well vs Georgia and was just a menace coming off the edge. Definitely a player to keep an eye on for this season.

Don't bother. We're not picking in the top 50 next year unless we get a decent pick for Jimmy G.
This. This is the one. Double up with Boye Mafe.

Agreed, this kid will be gone way before.

We never know what's going to happen, especially this early on. Everyone expected Greg Rousseau to be a top 10 pick. No one thought Payton Turner would have gone in the 1st round. Ojulari fell to the 2nd despite his medicals clearing up.

I know, i just wanted to be a smartass and point out we're going to the playoffs this season

look at that. i stay away from the draft room for two weeks and i already forget how we communicate lol
I honestly expect the draft forums to be pretty barren for a while with no 1st round picks for the next couple of years.

those day 2 and day 3 prospects are always fun to study cuz their value is always so high.

Probably but hoping for the best and that we can net a 1st for Jimmy. Seems like a pipe dream but you never know.

interesting.

i liked him as a pass rusher a lot I'm a bit worried how he will gold up against the run though. Personally i would like an everydown EDGE guy i think hes a pure speed pass rush guy which i wouldn't mind at all
Wouldn't mind Sanders on the 49ers!
He had a pretty bad week of senior bowl practices. But that doesn't mean he can't play. Just something to keep in mind.

What were some of the issues he was having? Heard he needs a little refinement
