Thoughts on moving up to take Thomas?

I haven't watched a ton of Cam, from what I've watched I'd say no to moving up. I don't see the high end upside to invest more picks. If we're gonna move up go get Mafe or Ebiketie.

pro-day numbers involving a stop watch is meh to me.
I really really liked Turay coming out, and he has a ton of ability. If we bring him in, I might not go Edge at all, let alone in the second. But if not, it's GOTTA be Ebiketie or Drake Jackson for me. This ghost move is rediculous..so smooth, no loss of speed, then bend to finish around the corner and make the play.

Keep seeing the kid Carson Wells from Purdue I think mocked you the niners, anyone know of him ?

John is as good as they come at evaluating edge prospects. I value his opinion when it comes to the DL

he's got my dude Mafe higher than most

I'd like to see the "rest" of the guys he hasn't graded . I know I personally have quite a few that he hasn't reviewed above Enagbare.
DeAngelo Malone coming in for a visit…seems like SF has been all over this kid
The below Edge rushers are considered day 2 picks. Anyone you guys just don't like at 61? I'm not high on Jackson, or Sanders.

Arnold Ebiketie
Boye Mafe
Drake Jackson
Kingsley Enagbare
Cameron Thomas
Myjai Sanders
Nik Bonitto
Sam Williams
DeAngelo Malone

Aye. As much as I like him and see a lot of potential, he's a better fit as a 3-4 OLB.
Thoughts on taking David Ojabo at 61 if there, even with the Achilles injury?

i would

youre talking about taking a guy who wouldve gone in top 10 to top 15 in other draft classes where they are 3 EDGE rushers seen as top 5 prospects
He also might be the most explosive pass rusher (he is a bit raw against the run)

I also think its a bit moot. I dont see him falling to 61. Hes a slam dunk pick for a team to take in the top of 2nd round

I mean I wouldn't take him, I'd rather take Cameron Thomas, Drake Jackson or Myjai Sanders at 61. But ultimately if Andrew Booth Jr. (CB) falls to the 2nd round, I'm trading up for him.

Enagbare doesnt have the speed to be a highly productive edge imo, I'd pass on him and Sander has the speed but can he build a frame to have the power to use the speed, both are too risky in my opinion. Jackson has the tools but didn't put it together consistently but Kocurek would unlock that hopefully and he'd be very good opposite Bosa. Bonitto is more of a 3-4 tweener but he wins and would make an impact opposite Bosa for sure.

I don't see Cam Thomas or Sanders on Jackson's level at all. But ultimately I would rather trade down instead of drafting any of those players at 61.
