Wouldn't that be sweet?

I would openly weep, and that's OK.
Metchie vs. McCreary has been a heavyweight title bout all day in the Iron Bowl.
Mcreary is really good. Would be a great target late first but oh well. Metchie is solid but not a game breaking deep threat. Been reliable for us forever tho. I can't stress enough how good Will Anderson is, he's go 1.1 this year if he was eligible.
Bigsby is a good back but made a lethal mistake tonight.

I wish I could have watched this game. Mccreary is someone I hear a lot of really high praise for but I haven't had the chance to watch him yet

Man he had to go down in bounds there. Cost his team the game by not doing the basics of football there

His bookend David Ojabo is still learning the game and he put up a couple of sacks today, too. Same problem, he won't be there in the mid to late 2nd round either. Guys like the following have to be the targets at EDGE:

Nik Bonitto
Oklahoma

6'3"
235

Zach Harrison
Ohio State

6'6"
265

Arnold Ebiketie
Penn State

6'3"
240

Cameron Thomas
San Diego State

6'5"
270

Brenton Cox Jr.
Florida

6'3"
250

Travon Walker
Georgia

6'5"
275

Tyreke Smith
Ohio State

6'3"
267

Sam Williams
Ole Miss

6'3"
265
Zach Harrison is trash, wouldn't touch him earlier than the 4th round.

Highly recruited, supposedly next in line to the Bosa's and Chase Young, but he's nothing like them. His initial step off the ball is comparable to Arik Armstead... that's not a compliment. No pass rush moves, not bendy or athletic... very stiff.

He just looks the part, nothing else.

Jermaine Johnson EDGE Florida State??

Good size and speed, good in pursuit, has dropped into coverage as a LB

That'd be my target. We're yet to see also how Drake Jackson is viewed by the NFL. Boye Mafe is another great talent outside of the top 50 picks
Biggest needs are evident.

Replacement for Josh Norman (DeMo Lenoir? Draft?)
Replacement for Daniel Brunskill (Banks? Draft?)
Replacement for Jimmy G (Trey Lance?)

Partner in crime for Bosa (Draft)
Replacement for Alex Mack (Draft)

Luckily draft is deep in this spots

Nailed it.

Yup. I'd think the replacement for Mack could potentially start at RG if Banks isn't ready yet, assuming we are talking a Day 2 pick for a replacement C. I like those 2 birds w/one stone solutions. I gotta think help at Edge needs to be the other day 2 pick atm. If Omenihu (maybe) or Ebukam (looks unlikely) can turn the corner (literally and figuratively), maybe that will change, but it's a glaring need right now. I'd like to think one or both of the young CBs will be ready to step up. I'm cool paying K'waun Williams o stock around at Nickel to let DeMo compete outside. I think he's got the right mindset/intensity to get it done. Thomas needs to reach into his drawers and find a bigger set of balls, imvmfho.
The Jets, Giants and Eagles each have two picks within the top 10. I've never seen such a scenario. The Giants and Eagles have non factors at QB. The 49ers could trade for one of those top ten picks.

You think Adam Anderson drops? But if those allegations are true can't justify drafting him
Martin Emerson CB Mississippi State and Kenderick Duncan Jr. S Louisville are a couple other later round players I want to see more of, both big DBs
