Commonnnn spill the beans on edge and CB lol
I rather use FA to take a cb, I'm scared of this front office drafting a CB. Hope they go edge with their pick in the 2nd

Barrows speculated they would go after the best CB on the market. I hope they make a run at Carlton Davis

I think we need to do both.

If we get a second pick in the 2nd round do you think we trade up for a better pick at edge in round 1 and so we also have that fifth year option? Also who else would you see us picking up in FA at CB?

The only thing I don't like about signing a high profile CB in FA is the cost. Teams usually have to overpay for good ones who aren't either over the hill like Sherman or injured like Verrett. I would prefer a draft pick if they can find a good one in the 2nd round. Trading Jimmy will open a lot of cap space so it's not out of the question that they could sign one but I don't want to overpay.

Sign Gilmore, draft Jermaine Waller in the 3rd.

Then double dip with either Taiwan Mullen (if there) or Cam Taylor-Britt day 3
CB take a while to adjust in the nfl i think we give our rookies another year

they dont look god awful like ive seen other CB they werent even raw. They just need to fine tune their game they make some mistakes here and there so its more about not making mistakes throughout the whole game but in terms of coverage they arent getting beat like a drum or anything

I think a bigger problem is the right side of the OL. Getting McGlinchey back will help but i think we need to draft a G and EDGE

Martin Emerson CB Mississippi State and Kenderick Duncan Jr. S Louisville are a couple other later round players I want to see more of, both big DBs

I'm a big Taiwan Mullen fan

Tre'Vius Hodges-Tomlinson,, TCU. He is smallish corner, but relentless in coverage. 37.5% completion rate against over last 2 years. Very good ball instints as well. If he declares, seen him projected late 3rd-5th. His teammate Noah Daniels is also someone I like, would be good in zone scheme and a bigger corner at 6', 195. Nehemiah Pritchett, Auburn, is another scheme fit, big and fast 6'1", 4.35. i do like Emerson as well.

Having seen Kittle carrying the team, I want the best available tight end, to give him breathing room and hopefully help him avoid injuries. Under the circumstances I may even be prepared to splash out another 5th round pick.

I like Derrick Deese Jr out if SJSU to replace Ross Dwelley

Lets be real, we should probably do both. Sign Davis and draft Kaiir Elam with our 2nd rd pick. That leaves us with a need at edge, but you can't have it all.
