At this point, the Niners picking in the mid 50's might mean they have to go for a WR, S or Edge player because good corners will be scarce at that point. With the play of Jennings, Deebo and Aiyuk, our top 3 WR's seem to be set. I am hoping for a WR/KR type to help our "not so special" teams. Guys like Calvin Austin III or Wan'Dale Robinson would be my preference.

IMO, theres pretty good talent at CB from the second day on. Still early on in the process, but second might be a sweet spot for corners IMO. Possible day two or later guys who could be immediate upgrade could be: Martin Emerson, Noah Daniels, Darian Kendrick, Nehemiah Pritchett, Hodges-Tomlinson, Kyler Gordon, and Kaiir Elam. I'm guessing there are 4-6 first round guys at this point? Stingley, Gardner, Booth, McCreary, McDuffie and possibly a guy I listed earlier (Elam.)

Kyler Gordon is officially my draft crush, after the combine I don't think he will project to mid 2nd. Would Love to see McCreary there as well

Yea, Gordon should test through the roof. McCreary too good in man coverage to drop. Elam is this year's Surtain, should be gone in the first as well. Still a ton of talent tho. I'll continue pounding the table for Jermaine Waller and Marcus Jones in the 3/4 rounds

I like the Marcus Jones idea because he is also one of the most prolific and dangerous return men in college football. The Niners need a quality KR in the worst way this offseason.

Absolutely. Quite the train wreck back there right now.

Yup, and he's a pretty feisty nickel corner too who can compete for a job if Kwuann leaves in FA
How high of a priority is right tackle? They are locked into $10M for MM, but his return to "form" is not guaranteed. The Niners could try to roll with Compton or Jaylon Moore.

Here's some RT prospects I'm intrigued by:
Rasheed Walker
Jaxson Kirkland
Tyler Vrabel
Braxton Jones

Reminds me of Robby Anderson. Maybe a higher ceiling if his listed height is accurate and due to contested catch ability.

i think its time we burn some picks on ST guys. a good return man can be useful im a bit of our returns not crossing the 20 yard line

I agree here 100%, I want a dedicated return man and gunner extraordinaire if possible. I feel like the two coaches who put the most emphasis on special teams are Belichek and Saban. ST can be a huge asset if you can trust yours and use it to your advantage every opportunity.
Of course, I'm not saying draft a 5'8 return specialist in round 2, but find players with rare strengths at some point after the roster needs are filled. Matthew Slater has been a pro bowler the past decade being a special teams maverick only.

He is looking good in the FCS championship game, ran a nice pass play out of the backfield

I'm glad we are in a position where any receiver taken likely will be for that role specifically. Safeties, WR/KR, corner, edge, and OL.

If the team does extend Tomlinson, I am curious as to where they see Banks, Moore, and Brunskill in 2022. Banks not starting in 2022 is going to look bad. Joshua Garnett bad, except Garnett was a first. Moore has the talent to start. Will they run with him at RT? Or sit for a year if Mike McGlinchey can return? There's also the possibility of trading McGlinchey if a team would take him. If it works out that way, take another tackle or center (to groom behind Mack).
He's going back to school but keep an eye on Jayden Reed from Mich st. Burner

Did he confirm returning? Bummer.

I think I mentioned already, but Skyy Moore declared. Fast guy and elite at tracking the football at the catch point

Who are some potential RG, RT, DT, DE/OLB, WR(speedster, preferably with return skills), and LB?

I know alot of people are asking for a CB, but something tells me that the coaching staff will give Ambry and DeMo another year to figure it out. I wouldn't be surprised if the team draft O line or D line first. McGlinchey isn't anything special. Heading into the season the RG was seen as the weakest spot on the O line. Kinlaw is a bust (still can't get over the fact the team forfeited Buck for him). Dee Ford is done and could use a replacement for him. The WR corps are solid with Deebo, BA, Jauan, and Trent. They could a burner to round out the group, and it would better if he has return skills, don't want to increase BA's chances of injury. The LB corps got thin this season, but then again Demeco seems to be really good at developing LBs.

Wish we had a shot at Jameson Williams

Demo is likely looked at as our potential nickel CB of the future with Kwuan set to hit free agency. I'd expect the team to make a move at outside corner, either in the draft or free agency. I'm hoping for one of each. RT is an area of weakness, but Mike McG, assuming he can come back healthy, is guaranteed 10 million next year which is on the high end for all right tackles. He is unmovable, plus we got Moore (recent draft pick) and McKivitz who the team clearly trusts. I'd say RG is still a need, and I'm hoping they draft one, but word is out on Banks and I doubt they completely give up on the guy so soon. It is far too early to call Kinlaw a bust, and I doubt we let Mo Hurst rehab on our dime all season for nothing; I wouldn't expect IDL except for depth run defenders very late in the draft. Remember, Key is cooking from inside too.

Dee Ford definitely needs a replacement, and I hope that's where we look first. Jermaine Johnson II was my guy, but I don't think he's there with us making playoffs unless we net an early second for Jimmy G. Maybe we can manuever around and take a speed guy like Drake Jackson out of USC if he drops for the same reasons Harold Landry did. He'd be amazing as a spot rusher lined up wide of Bosa. I also think ST players, returners, coverage guys, and gunners needs to be a focus in the draft and in rounding out the roster around our core guys. Doesn't necessarily need to be a WR, but more team speed is always welcome
Jarrett Patterson returning to school. That now makes 3 centers who were draft eligible this year returning to school that should be draft targets next year if we stick with Mack through his contract.

Jarrett Patterson, Notre Dame
John Michael-Schmitz, Minnesota
Ricky Stromberg, Arkansas

And then you've got Sedrick Van Pran out of Georgia.

I'd still like to sign Chicago or Tennessee's center in free agency, but if not, I'm not so sure we should target a center in the draft this year
Dude Jameson Williams looking like he tore his ACL/MCL
