He's got some heavy ass hands, needs some coaching but toss him in the IOL and he will beat the s**t out of some dudes.

Those are some sick reps. Gotta check out some more extended footage. Definitely won't get away with some of that stuff in the NFL, but I can see him drawing less calls at guard.

Alec Lindstrom or Dohnovan West to sit behind Mack to groom for the future.

This seems like a pretty weak draft class for OC. Agreed they need developmental depth. Hopefully they don't overpay.

Saw him and Rachaad White run all over the Washington Huskies this season. Experienced, mobile and able to play both C/OG. Great early day 3 pick for the Niners if he's available.

Would love Lindstrom bro! West I haven't watched much of individually, but I didn't think much of ASUs line and too me it always looked like the QB was running for his life all the time lol. 5 pressures since 2019 is crazy, I gotta take a look now
Draft gurus,

I'm not up to speed on this draft so I have a couple overarching questions:
  • The media consensus is this a weak draft for QBs and in general the blue chip talent isn't as strong as other years, true?
  • Seems like there are numerous DEs with high grades, any chance one falls in our range (late first early second - Jimmy trade)?
  • What are the positions of strength in this draft?

this year EDGE class is loaded its the best in recent memory for sure. WR and G are really good too. CB is solid but i think there is a pretty big drop of after day 2

QB class is weak very weak this was expected and why so many QBs were drafted last year and a huge reason why we made the trade up for Lance

thanks! That's consistent with what I've heard. It seems like if we could get starter-quality players - good speed-end DE, G, and CB before end of 3rd round, the draft is kind of playing into our draft needs.

Good quality G, DE and CB are in rounds 2-4 most of the simulations that I run through, there are good players just which order do you draft them. Sometimes the draft just does not fall in your favor especially if the first 60 picks are CB heavy
I don't have the energy or desire to watch tape anymore, so I'm going to need a confirmation on this.

Yeah man he looked pretty legit from what I watched at the Senior Bowl. was getting good separation. He can flip those hips, doesn't wait for the ball to get to him and he's got quick feet. He's a bit on the smaller size and while he has good release off the LOS (from what I saw at the SB) he might have issues vs some of the stronger NFL press DBs. He played primarily out of the slot at Boise St though.

I'm seeing late day 2 early day 3 on him...I've seen him comped to Amon-Ra St. Brown/Higgins as well. Honestly he would be a great fit as our slot WR. He's a dude that I need to watch more off after the Senior Bowl

Also Hero we need you to watch some film on the DL. come on now!

The three things I want to find out before the draft.

1. Who's the top corners that would be available in rounds 2 and 3?

2. Any deep threat WRs that can also return punts and kicks?

3. Are there any late round RBs that have elite speed? I was high on Sermon but it's not looking like we can count on him going forward. Mostert looks like he's going to Miami too.
