2. Any deep threat WRs that can also return punts and kicks?
not that we will be able to draft him when we have more pressing needs but if he falls to us somewhere late 2nd/3rd, and depending on the haul we get from Jimmy to fill those needs:
I'm not up to speed on this draft so I have a couple overarching questions:
The media consensus is this a weak draft for QBs and in general the blue chip talent isn't as strong as other years, true?
Seems like there are numerous DEs with high grades, any chance one falls in our range (late first early second - Jimmy trade)?
What are the positions of strength in this draft?
Here's a good article that shows the relative strength of each position with a list of draftable prospects and a letter grade for the group as a whole.

Agreed. I'd use Deebo as more of a decoy out the backfield to set up some huge YAC plays or deep plays.

Ball skills, speed to cover and also importantly play contain against Russell and murray, not afraid to play the run and punish over the middle, and of course his return abilities.... def worth a 2nd rounder! Fills alot of holes, and can play on offense for some of Kyles creative calls. I think you guys found me one of this seasons draft crushes
I think Kyle said something about not wanting to use a roster spot for a return specialist, so yeah, any guy that can make the team at their position gets high priority. Even better if they are a starter or can be the #3 corner. Works for me as any corner that also is a returner has the opportunity to start, but won't be expected to start barring injury. Mosely and Thomas should be fine as a starters and both should continue to progress. The problem was when either of those guys had to come out there was no one behind them. I'd also like a receiver that can do the same so there is an actual competition for the return job.

Day 3
- Senior Bowl invitee
- Niners need a return specialist/deep threat.
I could see it!
hes one of the 3 return specialist i really really like
Nice prospect
Looks very nice and the best part, he's a day 3 guy. It's pressure on our day 3 picks- high expectations lol. George Kittle, DJ Jones, Dre Greenlaw, Jauan Jennings, Eli Mitchell and not to mention our UDFAs guys like Kendrick Bourne, Matt Breida, Jeff Wilson, JaMycal Hasty, and Emmanuel Mosely. I hope the tradition continues.
