Well I prefer not to spend a high pick on a CB. If Verrett comes back I don't think a 2nd or 3rd round CB will see the field unless we're ravaged by injury. I dont have any problem with the Niners giving Verrett a HEAVILY incentivised deal, but they cannot rely on that guy for 1 season, let alone an extended run at multie SBs. Also, amazing job with the street fa bargain bin, but this team needs to invest in its CB future.

I certainly wouldn't mind taking a flier on him if he falls. I just wouldn't spend one of our top picks on him.

Pull a Bill Walsh stunt and draft a DB in the 1st, 2nd 3rd and 5th round. You can't expect 3 hits like he got that year but at least 2 should be good. Once Walsh fixed that part of the team the rest was easy. He knew by that time that he had his QB so the rest was fill in the blanks.

So it was legally registered to him? If you are going to carry around a gun concealed might as well get a conceal carry permit. I think that's a red flag

I know you didn't ask me lol. I was intrigued by Bryant until a couple of things bothered me at the Senior Bowl. Between some of the penalties he had, and what looked like a tendency to grab, I got major PTSD from Josh Norman flashbacks so I'm not sure what to think now.
