Looking ahead to the offseason, I think the Niners needs will change significantly after the playoffs and after free agency. Currently, the Niners needs are as follows:
CB
Edge
WR/KR
Safety
C/OG
OT
TE
DT
Would you agree?
The Niners have almost half the roster scheduled to be free agents in 2022 (https://ninerswire.usatoday.com/gallery/49ers-roster-2022-free-agents-list/). The Niners need to re-sign the following players:
Laken Tomlinson G
Jordan Willis DE
Arden Key DE/DT
DJ Jones DT
Azeez Al-Shaair LB
Daniel Brunskill OL
Jauan Jennings WR
The rest are all debatable.
How do you think their needs will look after free agency?

I think Safety and Corner are our 2 biggest needs.
Im just concerned our free agents will be hot commodities thus them getting more money then what we can offer.

Your list of needs looks just about right to me.
KR/punt returner is a must.
Ball hawking safety, with our rush we should be getting more interceptions.

Would like a CB in FA (D Jackson can play both outside and in slot) and maybe an OL guy like Daniels who could be the successor to Mack at C. In draft can then focus focus on a pure speed ER guy and a S with the 1st 2 picks

Good list MBA. I think I would add K'Waun Williams and either Raheem Mostert or Jeff Wilson to that list of current players to resign. And in FA I would focus on adding a veteran CB. In the draft, I would focus on adding 1-2 OL, 1, DL, 1 Edge, 1 WR/KR/PR, 1 CB,1 Safety.

I like the James Daniels idea for free agency. He was a draft crush when he came out of Iowa and unfortunately got taken by the Bears. in free agency, there are two targets at Edge that would look great in red and gold. Hassan Reddick or Harold Landry would be fantastic additions to this defense. That's the rub. Niners needs can turn completely around depending on what they do in free agency. Can't wait to see how this plays out.

Yeah would love either of those 2 ERs, but feel they are going to break the bank. Thought maybe Barnett, but he's been a bit underwhelming. Also thought Gregory might be interesting, but have zero interest after that playoff game and how undisciplined he was

Sign a veteran interior OLman. Draft DBs and Edge.

Draft CB and OLB early.
Take some middle round shots on WR, OL, and FS.

I believe we have to sign an outside CB in FA, and draft another, we have to resign Kwan Williams and sign another nickel DB unless we have DeMo going to nickel only DB.
Draft must haves:
CB
Edge
WR/KR
Safety
C/OG
RB
I would love to have a deep threat WR, but I think its best for Lance to master the quick pass in his rookie season next year, learn to read NFL defenses and let the running game be there for him to lean on.
23' draft is going to be fun, get that specimen WR, boost the OL, TE, fill in what few needs the Def will have. 22' for me is about helping the secondary, getti ng a slot/PR WR, add to the RB's to keep a real threat at RB 3-5 (Hasty isn't doing it for me), deep edge class...grab a raw piece to develop under Kocurek's tutelage, get an athletic OC prospect to sit behind Mack for a season, ie Lindstrom from BC.
