I like Philips as well. The QB change was exactly why I never even tried mocking him to us.

Why can't we draft both? Slot WR who can get open all day and a burner?
they got 4 WRs that will make the roster and then a bunch of camp bodies.

I think Phillips could help out Lance a ton. Get open at will and make his life easier.

My reasoning is a receiver like Phillips would be underutilized with Trey. A slot WR like Phillips need volume to be productive. Usually on short quick accurate passes. At this point that's not Trey's game IMO.
I'm not saying we have to go speed only. I do think you need a WR who can adjust to his passes. He's not an accurate passer and often times need to catch the body outside of your frame.
This isn't me hating on Trey just to hate on Trey. Just how I view him at this time.

Yessir.. what I love here he 99% of the time.. makes the first man miss. Titans Woods won't be near 100% imo.. Philips in line for early work.
