I don't see the Niners making more than 6 picks in this draft

NEEDS
OL × 3 (1 G, 1C/G are MUSTS I'll add OT because we don't know what will happen with Mcglinchey next year. Will we want him back?
S x 1 (outside of Ward we have ???)
CB x 1 ( need a slot corner to replace Williams)
RB x 1 ( Need a pass catching back and a backup that can at the very least split time with Deebo if Mitchell goes down)

Next priority

S x 1 need depth behind Ward and rook if we select rook high. If we resign Tartt or sign a vet this 2nd S isn't needed.

OT x Mcglinchey may be gone next

LB x Shaair and Greenlaw are FAs. Can't pay big money to 2 LBs.

DT x not much behind Kinlaw and Armstead now that Jones is gone.

WR x We used 3 WR sets more than any other set last year. I expect it to continue even more so wit Lance. While I'm fine with Jennings and McCloud as our 3/4 I wouldn't be mad at a WR with upside.

I don't think we need more bodies at ER. I wouldn't mind seeing a TE. If we do draft a "developmental " QB I want Dustin Crum as our 3rd QB.

What he said all day about the o line and 3 picks. Niners build from front to back and the O Line needs some help for the future. I would add a speed EDGE rusher to potentially supplant Ebukam at a lower price. Definitely need a deep threat WR, RB, slot CB, and LB. A better backup TE than either Dwelley or Woerner would be nice, too. That's all nine picks right there.

so you're taking the over. Cool. That's why I started this thread just to see peeps thoughts
I want them to make 9 picks or trade down and get more picks. This team overvalues players when trading up and it usually doesn't work out. Take more swings.

Let's say they make 7 picks; in no specific order:

Edge (need youth; too many 1 year deals)
CB (starting caliber slot or outside)
OL (C/G flexibility; Moore and McKivitz can backup Tackle)
S (SS/FS flexibility)
WR (big with speed; push Jennings for #3)
DT (need youth; too many 1 year deals)
RB (Hasty needs to go)
Well, the 9ers always seem to trade up and reach for a specific player, so yeah, we'll probably come away with a total of 5 players from this years draft.. safety, edge, 2x O-Linemen, and our usual DT.

I'm definitely on the take more swings side. I wouldn't trade down from our 1st 3 picks though.

Absolutely betting the over.
DT, edge rusher. another CB, WR. RB, hopefully at least a couple OL's. I can see them making more than 6 picks easily.
I'll take over 6 picks. They gotta address this year's needs and next year's needs as well.
we should get walker, watson and a legit kicker

Count me as one who wants 2 OL grabbed. Definitely need a center, and I wouldn't mind if we got another tackle or guard. Even if the starting 5 are set (color me skeptical), we need more to protect for injuries.
