Personally, I feel taking one of the first kickers off the board and erasing millions from the cap has a higher percentage chance of being a valuable addition than a corner than has dropped to the 7th, but It depends on who falls, absolutely. I think at DT, we're good with a early-ish draft pick, a premier FA, and the return of Kalia Davis.

Agreed. I like Robbie a lot, but a 7th round pick for 1/10 of the price? Great deal. Plus I say we need two tight ends. After Kittle, there's nothing special so I'm all on board for two if they can block and can provide some receiving help.
Ochaun Mathis is an intriguing day 3 edge rusher from Nebraska. Combine invite, played at the shrine bowl. 35" arms with 10-1/2" hands. Good first step, good speed in a straight line, requisite flexibility to bend the edge, plus vertical athlete, good finisher. Not an elite bender, requiring a widened track to run the hoop, lacking in lateral agility and foot speed when moving parallel to the LOS with eyes in the backfield (showed a pitiful swim/arm over move when working inside), needs to build strength and work on moves to disengage from blocks.

Isaiah McGuire- DE Missouri
6-4 270+ 8.5 sacks this past year.

I know the thought of taking another RB in the 3rd RD will give fans nightmares but Tyrae Spears really interest me. He has speed, very good balance and looks to be a good receiving back also.
I would watch for OT Matthew Bergeron. If he is there in the middle 2nd I could see 49ers sending a package of picks to move up for him.

I am intrigued by this Andre Carter II, who I find is unrelated to original Andre Carter, still intrigued tho

Been reading on him . Tyler Steen also sounds like a good fit
is there a thread with prospects we met already?
Not yet. All teams met with all prospects at the Senior Bowl so nothing to really report on yet.

I like Steen, interesting option. I'm afraid he's going to test well and move up.
We'll get some data pretty soon here as the combine kicks off. Both OTs are possible trade up candidates unless they put themselves into the Day 1 conversation.

Hes a ways away from being a viable NFL player, imo. Felix Anudike-Uzomah is a potential trade up target who I think can be productive much earlier in his career. Reminds me Josh Sweat.

Where we stand, it's going to be very hard to get an edge rusher. I've got Will Anderson, Tyree Wilson, Myles Murphy, Lukas Van Ness and BJ Ojulari all going in the first round. Nolan Smith late 1 early 2, Keion White, Tuli Tuipulotu and Will McDonald early second. Felix in the late 2nd Drake Jackson range, Zach Harrison and Isaiah Foskey early 3. That leaves guys like Byron Young, Dylan Horton, Ochuan Mathis, KJ Henry, Villami Fehoko etc...not exactly sure fire day one contributers

I like this guy as back up RB, gadget and kick returner.

Think your right on that, he does look like what the Niners use at RT recently
