You figure JimmyG nets a 3rd round comp pick. So far the OL looks pretty good, with the only free agent starter being McGlinchey. My guess is that they trade up to get an OT if they can't bring McGlinchey in cheap and since Jaylon Moore hasn't looked good. Maybe they prioritize LB if Al-Shaair leaves or add more pieces in the secondary. Also likely they draft another QB to develop along with Brock Purdy.

that 3rd for Jimmy is 2024

I thought we have another 3rd for McDaniel and either Saleh or Mayhew. Then there are conp picks for FA losses. I think I read we had three 3rds somewhere.

I thought we had multiple 3rds as well.

We do. 3 of em. Expected to also get a comp 5, 6 and 7

Plus add another 3rd bc a team will snatch Demeco Ryans, so the niners could actually have four 3rd round picks next yr.

Well then I'm running with that for my weekly mock draft update. Very NDSU heavy...miss you Trey );

FA: Tony Pollard, Javon Hargrave
2 Sedrick Van Pran, OC
3 Devon Achane, RB
3 Jack Campbell, LB
3 DJ Turner, CB
3 Cody Mauch, OL
4 Jalen Catalon, S (injured)
5 Riley Moss, S
5 (COMP) Noah Gindorff, TE
6 (COMP) Harrison Mevis, PK
7 Derrick Canteen, NCB
7 (COMP) Hunter Luepke, FB/TE

The hope is Burford shows enough to move to RT. Poe, Banks and Mauch battle it out for the starting guard positions, and Van Pran starts at center.
How is QB Hooker 24 years old? Lol.

I've heard of football players repeating 8th grade to add size and being 1 year older

but did hooker get held back 3 years?!?

19 year old as a freshman, 5th year senior with an additional covid year?

Will be super unpopular but i think we need to look at drafting a RB. We use our RB in a way where there is a high reward but they appear to be more prone to injury and missing a few games. Spending a mid round pick on a Rb might not be a bad idea

Nope, he was 20 years old as a true freshman

I think its us lol, but I haven't looked at this league wide. I'm on board for the speed back considering what we have now. Devon Archane (credit to adrianlesnar) can potentially bring that Raheem Mostert like element back to this offense. Heavy on RB again next year, but it seems we have no choice. Id actually like to see some sets with Wilson (if brought back) as full back and Mitchell, Mason, or Archane at RB.
Wonder if Brian burns is truly available. I wonder if 3 thirds and a 2024 1st would do it. Probably not, but I can think of worse ways to build a team that by getting a multitude of day 2 players to surround the eventual franchise QB of which 2024 looks good.
Really looking forward to Juice Scruggs (center, PSU) vs Mazi Smith (DT, Michigan) this Saturday

Rookie wouldn't start anyway. Id definitely draft one to groom though.
