2023 Draft Prospect Watch List and Discussion

For right tackle, I'm not ruling out, and am hoping for, a draft day trade for Mekhi Becton if the Jets land a tackle they like in the first

My top 10 WR's. I think we only see 1 or 2 go in the first round, most have 2nd/3rd round grades imo.

Jaxson Smith Njigba - Ohio St
Jordan Addison - USC
Zay Flowers - Boston College
Jayden Reed - Michigan St
Jonathan Mingo - Ole Miss
Marvin Mims - Oklahoma
Josh Downs - UNC
Tank Dell - Houston
Quentin Johnston - TCU
Cedrick Tillman - Tennessee

Same. I was so excited to see that.

The numbers match...we've been tied to 16 with 4 in the top 150. But 8 total between the 75 and 200 range.

It's very likely we take one.
found this interesting in terms of teams trading up

"Here is the same chart for all pick-for-pick trades over the last 10 years. In aggregate, the trade down team "won" 58% of the time."

looks like trading up to picks 50-100 seems to be a net win majority of times but not so much for picks 100-150. Also teams that trade down in the first round win 71% of the time

Yeah, that was a bummer. We've needed another good tight end for a while. If we can get a guy that's 70% as good as Kittle, watch out. Would be amazing.

im hoping we find someone and have a Gronk-Hernandez situation… just without the murder and all that.

It's crazy how many first round picks don't work out. It's a ridiculous majority of them. If I was a player that was teetering between low first round and high second, I'd prefer to go in the low second.

take Aiyuk for example, if he was picked 8+ picks later, he would be a much wealthier man. This would be the year he could get an extension. That fifth year option is really mainly a benefit for the team and not the player. Usually they're executed on really good players. Lol

obviously, you can say he may of went to a bad team and not developed, but I think you guys get what I mean. I remember nick Saban talking about it. Lol

If murder brings us a few rings I wouldn't be opposed.
