2023 Draft Prospect Watch List and Discussion

Sweet. I posted a little blurb about him a while back, but he's got tools. Pretty explosive, superrrrr long. Should not be expected to contribute much year one tho, and definitely not outside of a designated pass rush role. I'd like the addition, but would definitely need more
CB Khalef Hailassie is another prototype 49er corner

Would be a perfect Brunskill replacement.

Formal meeting at combine, held on-campus workout with him, and top 30 visit.

Hopefully they're not using a top 100 pick (or around there) for a Brunskill replacement…I see him being mocked inside the top 100 and I just don't see it. Gladly take him in the 5th.

Yea that's where I'm at as well.

Mcclendon
Morris
Freeland

In the 3rd

This guy or Mcclendon Curtis I'm the 5th as an OG/OT backup role or challenging for Starting OG and I'm happy

Yeah Morris is my guy at this point if we're going OT early. I think the upside is there. He needs coaching and more true pass-set reps (Oklahoma OL are hard to figure out in pass-pro based on that scheme).

Watching a little more Daniels and hot damn he can move! Kid is a dog as well…not sure his career will be on the outside though. I won't be shocked if SF loved him
I doubt the Niners excite anyone with their draft this year unless they make some unforeseen trade. Instead I'm hoping for a solid draft that produces some real depth that will help for the next 3 years when we lose players to injury or free agency because of the cap. We need to have young players that can learn and step in in the next few years.

Yeah i dont expect any of the draft picks to contribute much this year. These guys will have the time to develop and maybe take the place of the starters in a few years. Webzone will be busy with the bust label this year. Can't wait...
Don't know if we've talked to him, but I like what I've seen out of DE Isaiah McGuire in limited review. Sets the edge well and shows not only power, but nice hands to win on the pass rush.

Mid-round guy it seems, but I think someone with good potential.
