2023 Draft Prospect Watch List and Discussion

Another late round RB I really like for us

Is that the guy who puts us over the hump to win a Super Bowl? What do we need to win the Super Bowl? Do we already have it? Has it been the coaching in the last two SB losses? I know when I watch the draft, I look for draftees who will make a difference. Now, so does the front office. But, I'm looking at the corners that have been drafted by the 9ers and I don't see much of a show stopper. Safety is a big concern also. I see that the Oline has been given serious attention in the last two-three drafts. So, while this SB window is still open, let's put this together with some guys who can stop the show and help bring a ring

I believe if the niners trade Deebo and pick a solid RT and Jonathan Mingo, we should be in a way better position. Don't dislike Deebo but he's been hurt every year.

Gonna draft another RB in the 3rd and then give CMC 30 touches a game…

Every game yelling at the TV to give CMC a rest and pop in one of the other 10 RBs…only to see CMC limping around. So god damn annoying lol.

We only draft RBs in the 3rd round when there's a bad RB class.

This class is unbelievable. So we probably only sign an undrafted FA.

That is the 49ers way post Frank Gore.

LMAO. So true!
Baalke has said they have 127 players on their big board this year (players with a draftable grade). Was listening to a podcast the other day with former Vikings GM Rick Speilman and he said it's usually around 150 players with draftable grades each draft. He said you can usually get to around the 6th round before you have to go to your other board and pick players with undraftable grades. Just a couple tid bits I found interesting because I love the draft and am fascinated by the inner workings.

Yearly it would be cool as s**t to be able to sit in on one. Even if it's day 3.

Yo JL hook me up!

I think Mingo would be a smart pickup in the event that we have to move off of either Deebo or Aiyuk in a year or two.
John Lynch has taken the lead.

I fully expect (my speculation) the first pick to go to Lynch (ER, S or CB) and then it's Kyle's turn (WR, T, RB, QB or TE). Let's see what happens!

I'm willing to bet Kyle gets the first pick and we trade up to mid 3rd round to grab the OL he wants.

Nice! I hope you're right (if that's the right play).
