Watched his first two games this season live and nothing has really changed. Accurate QB who can move a little. Concerns remain about his injury history, arm strength and his footwork. Someone will take a chance on this guy because he could be the next Tua. Rest of the year, starting against a decent Michigan State team this weekend, will determine where this kid goes in the draft. Solid day 2 pick IMO.

What? Dude has a laser cannon attached to his left shoulder.

I still see him a solid late 2nd, the potential is there but he needs to go to a team that will not need him ASAP
He's rising up the draft boards. Going top 10-15 in a lot of mocks.

Bit of an overreaction to one game imo, albeit one in which he played extremely well - I just think that game reinforced already known strengths, but didn't actually answer many questions about his perceived weaknesses. Monday will be the big test. Kudos for getting himself into the position to be able to show what he gots vs the best competition on the biggest stage.

Hell no I wouldn't trade three 1st round picks for him, actually no QB coming outta the draft I would trade for right now. Well unless his last name was Manning. If I'm trading three 1st round picks for a QB it's gonna be a veteran like Joe Burrow, Josh Allen or Justin Herbert. And Brock Purdy showed, you don't need to trade the world for a QB in the draft, you just gotta do your homework.

I dont know... I feel like the zone would be extremely receptive to a QB with multiple season ending injuries, then giving up picks too sounds like what the forums have been waiting for. /s
Seahawk
Dude is a beast. Injury concerns are legit. I'd take him in the top 5

Like I said, hell no would I give up three 1st round picks for a rookie QB and no way would I do it for Penix. Honestly dude looked like he was faking his injury tonight. IMO. When he took the snap, dropped back and threw a pass, he didn't even look like he had an injury. Hard pass on Penix, IMO.
I don't watch a lot of college football, and haven't seen a game of his prior to tonight, but that NC was trash. He left a ton out there. Was it just an off night?

Yeah he was unusually rattled tonight but a lot of that had to do with Michigan's 4 man pressure. They sure were in his face quickly
Rough night
