Yah I think he's got that Cam Newton in him.

Atleast he will be allowed to go through the growing pains unlike our Raw QB who was forced to get better by just reading and watching.
Seahawks got to take Carter here right? Unless they go Levis.
Richardson pick is hilarious to me. Terrible film. Super athletic though.
Aside from a couple of exceptions NFC QB's are AFC QB's ordered from Wish. The imbalance at the moment is pretty remarkable.
Seems like teams still haven't learned their lesson on these QBs who are just amazing athletes. The percentage of these guys who worked out recently is not in the colt's favor.

I hope they go Levis

Cam Newton was a monster at every level. Richardson sucked bad at playing qb.
he does have a coach that will lean on his athleticism though - it's the oc from eagles last year
Hawks picked up a couple def tackles in free agency. I think it's the the next edge rusher guy

So why didn't the Texans take the cheaper guy first and then trade up for Stroud?

I guess maybe the draft cost would be higher? But isn't QB salary higher? Someone who knows the salary schedule for rooks please elaborate.

Because the Titans wanted to trade up to #3 for Stroud

So basically eliminating one contender to trade, making the trade cheaper.

Colts & 49ers situations aren't comparable.

Because teams want a QB than can win an MVP. Even if it means there is a big bust possibility. Other QB's might have a much higher floor but can they be a top 3 QB in the league? I still think Trey has a better chance of winning an MVP in the future than Brock Purdy does.
