Because the Titans wanted to trade up to #3 for Stroud

So basically eliminating one contender to trade, making the trade cheaper.

Yup. On top of that, having taken a QB first Cards knew it wasn't for that. If they take Anderson first not only is there more competition but Cards can say "How badly you want your QB?"

While I'm not a fan of Richardson for same reason as Trey x10, I can get behind "swinging for the fences" when the player falls into your Lap and you're not chasing it.
