EVEN if Moody wasn't going to be there, you can't say that we had other needs who were sitting there.. PK can be found anywhere..

This is someone who doesnt remember the Cortez days. Pk is easy to overlook when you have had a good one for years, when you have a bad one you realize how important they actual are.

It looks like it was a straight trade of a 2024 3rd to get eagles the 2023 4th? I'd have personally done that all day for Dawand Jones; a gamble id be willing to take

Absolutely

....well,...one day, we've gotta see him play.

You can't really predict a guy never having a real opportunity to play after 2 years on the roster and if you did, you certainly wouldn't draft him in the 1st round.

But when is hindsight not 20/20?

Regardless of what, we can't judge Lance until he has some extended time on the field,...and that's whether he's here or somewhere else.

he was handed the starting position. he got hurt. stop claiming he didnt get any real opportunities.

He didn't have a real opportunity to get extended playing time in 2022 due to injury.

Therefore, we cant grade his ability as an NFL player. Maybe he's a bust,...maybe he's a solid player. His career's not over just yet.

Stop pretending like this isin't true because it 100% is.

As an aside....I think it's a complete waste of time to continually harp on injuries with a sport like NFL football that you choose to follow.

If a guy gets drafted 1st overall,....severely hurts his back to where he's never any good again before he ever touches the field,...that's not a "bust" of a pick. That's just an unfortunate event that is part of the reality when it comes to following a sport like this.

Busts are guys that actually play and show that yes, they were certainly not only picked too high, but maybe shouldn'tve been picked by anybody at all.

What we get a surplus of here (IMO) is harping on these same issues as if they're magically just going to go away by harping on them. No. They're just a part of the sport. They're always table tennis.

I want Stenson Bennet in the 6th. Would immediately, become, Brock's BFF.
Still feeling like the CB position is sliding. Quite a few guys on the board that I think could compete for snaps outside.

Eagles front office running circles around Lynch and Shanahan. Take notes boys this is how you draft. We're taking kickers and garbage TE's while they draft athletes.

The Niners got CMC as part of this draft, don't forget.

Always love the internet. A guy from a message board that has nothing to lose is willing to gamble. Not his money, job, family on the line. These teams do more scouting in a day than anyone on this board has done in their lifetime, but there is always outrage about picks. Its madding, lol

Eagles are killing the draft. Being aggressive and swinging for the fences.

DETROIT VS PHILLY in the NGCCG based from this Draft.

Niners got vets starting while Lions/Eagles will be depending on some rooks to get them to the promise land

The only thing that Matters is what Shanahan & Lynch think and it sure doesn't seem as if they are interested in giving him extended playing time.

Pats taking a kicker proves drafting moody was the right move

Been saying this all along and it was only 15 picks away from where we drafted ours.

Naturally. If the first one goes in the 3rd, it drives up the round for everyone else to make their ST picks.

Agree but there's absolutely no way Moody would have made it to us at 150.

So then take Ryland. My point is once the first one goes, if there are 2-3 prospects, the 2nd will soon be forced to follow. We take Wish, they take Jake Bailey.

Or just do what everyone else does and punt that to the latest rounds or UDFA and bring in competition. There's zero difference in high vs. UDFA kicker production.

lol. We need an RT. Dawand was the best on the board. Our pick will be a late round pick next year. That's not a big risk or bold take.

I remember Cortez.. I remember Jose " Big Belly Corona " Cortez... and I remember that we could have cut him after 3 weeks but did not.. was that his fault ??

Moody was the best PK in college last year and I'm not denying that, but we had other holes to fill..
