This draft is frustrating

What did you expect when the first pick wasn't until #99. Remember we got CMC last year and that's why we didn't have a 2nd rounder. The picks we lost when we moved up to take Lance ended up being late 1st rounders. None of the guys selected there would have made a big impact on this team. If Trey had stayed healthy we might be looking at one of the better young QBs in the NFC. Instead we're looking at a 3rd year player that still has to prove he can play. I still think the risk was worth taking. Sometimes risky moves work and sometimes they don't but if you have to go for it once in awhile.
Absolutely no way of knowing if the picks given up for Lance would've made an impact on this team, that trade is looking worse by the day.

Only if you keep thinking about it. The moment he got hurt any evaluations were paused. Anyone analyzing that trade has got to have masochistic tendencies and wants to give themselves ulcers because there is no new information since September, and even then, the sample size is too small to evaluate. Lets flip it and say Trey got off to a Nick Mullens start to his career for the first 1.25 starts this year or even 4 starts total. Its still too small to judge because we see what Mullens became over time.
