I would not have thought taking two CBs made sense for us, but Trice and Wright both still there is good value

Let me break it down.

To win football games, a team has to do two things.

1 Protect the quarterback.
2 Sack the quarterback.

We are the only team in this nfl draft that selected one player who will directly help in these tasks through first 6 rounds.

Only team to not draft someone over 250 pounds???

There's that.
I really like the speed and athleticism of our last two picks. Brings an element to our team that we aren't too great at, plus should help when playing mobile QBs
Big fan of Dubose. Jennings type or replacement in a year. You watch his film against middle tenn and he is just drive blocking corners 10, 20, 40 yards down field.

Does he have a history of like a heart condition or something? He would be a good snag for depth

agreed. I thought he was 4th - 5th round.
I think we'll look at OL, DT, and WR for these next three picks, if I had to guess. Maybe another DB.

I would like to add a guy who can backup McCloud. I like Xavier Smith who we took a look at.

I like DT Shakel Brown and Demontario Anderson.

I'd be OK with OL Ilm Manning, Tashawn Manning, or Ryan Hayes

Guys we talked to that I don't want:
OL Jake Andrews (waist bender, not a knee bender, and seemed to get pushed back so easily in PP with little to not push in the run game).

Xman Smith is a mini Deebo.

Me too. Especially our first three picks.

this was a draft where we got a lot of role players that can contribute, especially on special teams, and eventually will be starters or dependable rotational guys. Huge for us because we use those guys a lot.

also, wilks has a history of identifying and coaching up DB/S really really well. Like really well.

i LOVE the brown pick
