It can only be explained by Shanahan's plan to prove he's so good as an OC that he needs only an average or below average OLine.

Maybe they can find a Brendel 2.0 in the undrafted section of this offseason.
Now that the draft is over when will the schedule be released?
We potentially just used a fourth rounder on our kicker for
The next 10+ years and people wanted Oline in this bum ass draft. Lol

an o lineman that wouldn't play. Lol instead of our biggest need going into the draft
Which UDFA RB are we picking up this time around?

Idk but odds are he will be a stud. Lol

Most likely a really fast guy from a small school. Lol if history repeats itself

Hell yeah! Some surprises in the draft but overall, I think it was awesome for what we need immediately and developing some guys who can be difference makers.

anyone who works out from this draft will be Pennie's for us too!

I mean it was a pretty blah draft overall.

I loved it.
Moody was 3rd round. I understand comp picks, but a spade is a spade. He was drafted in the 3rd.
Crazy, not one of our rookies will make more than $1M this year. Lol

I was calling it. Don't approve but it seemed like the direction they were going.

Yup. Solid C grade overall.

Who gives a f**k. lol as long as he works out, does it matter? We've burned like 6+ first round picks and a s**tload of 2nd. If the player works out, does it really matter?

NY has said it many times, this is a super weak draft. I think we got a handful of guys who will fit our system perfectly and contribute here while they develop.

It was super weak at the top but super deep in the middle rounds.
A reliable kicker is so damn important, especially in the playoffs. I'd rather us go full throttle for the guy we like the most instead of settling and hoping someone else works out.

idc if he was taken in the first. It was our biggest need and no way we get the guy we really wanted and liked without using the 3rd round comp pick.

Because he's being referenced as a 4th here over and over. He's a third, just get the facts right.

Disagree it's a super weak draft. I think it was a pretty strong draft from picks 50-150ish. Yeah it was kinda weak at the top in terms of blue chip prospects but not weak overall. And I think something like 22 of the kickers in the league are UDFA's. Sure we needed a kicker but a 3rd round pick on one just doesn't make sense.
