Why? Lol only because we chose to take a qb. We still could of stayed in our spot and seen how it fell together.

if we really wanted Lance and he wasn't there, we could of taken micah. We could of just stayed put and taken either micah, fields, or mac.

This is how I see it, we lost the first round pick we used to pick Trey, then the other two we traded away plus the third we traded away. Thats three 1st round picks and a rrd that we invested. This would be a fireable offense if he turns out to be a bust.

So you think someone should be fired for potentially making a mistake wrt Lance... but what about the rest of the body of work the GM and HC have done here, like completely altered the culture here and rebuilt a highly talented and competitive roster. Does that not count? Are they not allowed to make a mistake wrt the QB position? Do they not get credit for the selection Brock Purdy if we are wanting to throw them under a bus for Lance?

Smells like an axe to grind considering your evaluating their jobs based on one particular move they made while ignoring everything they accomplished here.

Kittle, Mitchell, Warner, Purdy, Huff, I know I'm missing some late round guys that we hit on.

It's not all doom and gloom.

In fact you could argue that we do much worse in the first two rounds as well as the top of the 3rd round.

Yea between Fields, Levis and last years draft I really would love to see where Trey would went without us
