This is how I see it, we lost the first round pick we used to pick Trey, then the other two we traded away plus the third we traded away. Thats three 1st round picks and a rrd that we invested. This would be a fireable offense if he turns out to be a bust.

So you think someone should be fired for potentially making a mistake wrt Lance... but what about the rest of the body of work the GM and HC have done here, like completely altered the culture here and rebuilt a highly talented and competitive roster. Does that not count? Are they not allowed to make a mistake wrt the QB position? Do they not get credit for the selection Brock Purdy if we are wanting to throw them under a bus for Lance?

Smells like an axe to grind considering your evaluating their jobs based on one particular move they made while ignoring everything they accomplished here.

Definitely shouldn't be fired over it, although most situations peoples would, but they've done a good job overall.

I don't care that they took a big swing, just been poorly executed so far. Oh well! I disagree with the player they chose but that's irrelevant.

id rather them at least try, which they did. It's easy to look back in hindsight and see how everything could of worked in our favor.

Why? Lol only because we chose to take a qb. We still could of stayed in our spot and seen how it fell together.

if we really wanted Lance and he wasn't there, we could of taken micah. We could of just stayed out and taken either micah, fields, or mac.

I think Parson's was looked at as a linebacker and we had Warner and Greenlaw.
that's exactly it on Levis they just said it on tv NFL exec saying his tape just isn't good

Yea between Fields, Levis and last years draft I really would love to see where Trey would went without us

I just assume he would of most likely ended up injured anyways because the team would most likely be worse than us and he would still be taking a bunch of hits.

he's been injured a lot, we need to teach him to protect himself better and not have him run into car crashes every play.

but we have Purdy so idc about Lance anymore. Lol I just want Purdy healthy and balling

He came out as a MLB, we would of passed on him.
Hell yeah!!! I get to watch Kincaid with Allen!
that would be pretty cool to be TE1 in the draft class and you get to play with Josh Allen, congrats young man

Yeah, who knows. It's easy for us to say cause hindsight is 20/20 but I think if we weren't so focused on replacing jimmy, a great chance we take micah, he was considered a blue chip for sure.

it's all good. s**t happens.

If Lance does bust, our track record for burning first rounders would be pretty f**king bad.
run on TE now?

What would happen at your job if someone wasted a huge chunk of the companies assets without any ROI?

Solomon Thomas, yea I could see a pass given there. One bad pick at the top of round 1 during your first year, it happens.

3 first rounders and a 3rd is a fireable offense, too reckless no matter what you did with late round picks. The only guys that could get away with something like that would be BB or Andy Reid. Guys who bring in Super Bowl trophies.

Right. Bosa and everyone else.

Lol bad would be an understatement
bosa was a no brainer - thank god for Arizona.

only other one that's properly worked out is Aiyuk. McG was okay but not for where he was picked. He was good but nothing special. Denver way overpaid, imo.

I think Slater would have been the pick if they decided to stay at 12 and not take a QB.

One of those 3 is not like the others.
