Bruh, I don't dislike the RB but this defense couldn't stop a traffic cone last season. You get a slow LB with 3 sacks in 4 yrs, but can't get Hutchinson some help. And why the hell pay Montgomery if you're gon get this RB, you got Swift too. Campbell talking bout biting off kneecaps then he does this s**t with two 1st rd picks

Gibbs seems legit, their O seems good, I like Campbell I had him to BUF 1st round, which I thought was kind of a reach, lil stunned he went top 20, you don't see off ball LBs that high, good player tho

Absolutely, both their picks are good dudes but they needed to do what Niners and Eagles do (beef up that line). They could get a LB and RB tomorrow with three picks in the 2nd rd. Dan Campbell prolly likes Jack cause they share the same last name

But this ain't how you go about biting off kneecaps imo

I think both picks make their team better but they were both reaches.
To sum up how weak this draft is at the top, just look at the 1st round.

QB's: A 5'10" QB went #1 overall with concerns over arm strength and durability. A QB went 2nd overall who had less than 20 true career rushing attempts.
RB's: two picked in the top 12 in a day and age where RB's pretty much are passed on in the 1st round all together.
WR's: took until pick 20 for the first to go
OL: only 5 picked in the 1st round
CB: a reach at 5th overall
EDGE: one of the weakest classes in almost a decade

This draft was never seen as top heavy and more of a meat and potatoes draft (middle rounds).

Meh. This draft is so weak in talent at the top.

Jalen Carter is a guy who played on the "best defense ever" at UGA and only managed to put up 6 career sacks and 18.5 tackles for loss in 35 games (also only 4 career passes defended and 2 career forced fumbles). Yet everyone is crowning him as the best defensive player in the draft. He has significant questions off the field as well as weight issues AND maturity red flags.

Nolan Smith (many of what is said above is relevant here) is another who everyone gets caught up in the 4.3 40 time. He played in 38 career games with 12.5 sacks and 20 tackles for loss (also 3 career passes defended and 3 career forced fumbles). People are comparing him to Von Miller and stating he is the "twitchiest" and most "bendable" edge in the draft.

This stuff is ridiculous.

Honestly watching the draft without the 49ers having a pick in the first two rounds makes me realize how dumb and click bait these analysts are. I watched the ESPN broadcast the whole first round and heard the following:

Bijon Robinson comp to Saquon Barkley with the pass catching of Christian McCaffrey
Calijah Kancey comp to Aaron Donald
Zay Flowers comp to Tyreek Hill
Michael Mayer comp to Jason Witten

This is absolutely insane. These analysts need to stop putting out comps.

They talk every pick up like they're the second coming of Brady and then 90% of them are busts.

idk who is what in this draft but it isn't a great draft from what I can see.

Interesting to see HOU moved from 12 to 3.. which was our move on TL

I'm gonna have to dock HOU a bit as much as I like Stroud / Anderson, they surrendered their #1 pick in 2024, and they suck, that could be #1 overall going to Arizona
but I guess Arizona would have had Will Anderson if they stood at #3.. not sure what to think here..

Horrible trade by Houston, gave up too much with that 2024 #1
Great trade for AZ

Damn Will Levis dropped to the 2nd round is a shocker, but I guess the reports about were true.

Eagles, Texans and Seattle I thought had good drafts.

Oh and Brian Branch has dropped to the 2nd please trade up for him!!! Shoot also Joey Porter Jr has dropped to the 2nd!!!

Michael Mayer sliding to the 2nd surprised me too. I think he's the best TE of the class.

Shoot I thought Mayer was drafted by Dallas!!! Wow guess not!!! I would love Branch or Porter over Mayer though.

Anderson may very well be better than whoever they would take with their first next year. I think Ryans can get them close to 7-9 wins in that division next year.

I was stunned. I thought I had missed his pick.

I wasn't surprised at all … and based on team needs, I had a feeling he was going to experience the "Geno Smith Draft Day Experience".
Question is, do you think other QBs will be selected before him?
