2024 Draft Early Look

Not early. Wasted capital. We have an O line ranked in the 20s. I'm not touching safety until round 4 at the earliest. Also have a big need at corner. And even if we do sign Chase, we need a 3rd edge rusher to compete with Beal and Jackson. I don't expect Gregory to be here.

Then again maybe not, lets see how Ji'Aiyir Brown ends the season. I still hope CB or RT is the #1 pick or 2nd round pick.

The Offensive Tackles who are out-of-reach barring a Trey Lance type of trade are Joe Alt, Olu Fashanu, JC Latham and Taliese Fuaga. These two guys need development but look like 49ers fits: Jordan Morgan & Kingsley Suamataia. Both might be there at 32 so 49ers would not have to trade up.

Instead of resigning Aijuk, what if we packaged him with other draft picks to move up for Marvin Harrison Jr.? I know it sounds like fantasy, especially if he goes in the top 5 and the draft capital we would have to surrender to move up that far, but here is my reasoning.
1. Salary! If Aijuk ends up performing well getting over $25 million a year, he might price his way off our team unless Trent Williams retires. Good for us if he increases his trade value which is kind of essential for this to work, and will also make me sad to see him go.
2. Julio Jones! When he had Julio in Atlanta, his offense was incredible. Falcons made a similar deal and it almost won them a Super Bowl
3. We have a pretty deep roster, and a ton of picks. May as well try and get the best player in draft. Low risk high reward
4. We have an elite run game, but our receivers have not shown they can dominate, and I love how we scheme people open, but what would our offense look like with an elite pure wideout, and CMC? I hope Aijuk can become that, but I am not as confident in that as I am in Marvin Harrison Jr.'s potential, mostly based on watching his father for over a decade, and seeing his son look just as good with a way bigger frame, and a lifetime of training toward this moment. Also why I want to draft Frank Gore Jr. and Brendan Rice.....
5. It's working really well in my Madden Franchise! lol, go ahead and roast me now

Obviously, everyone here should want Harrison Jr over Aiyuk, but he's going to go top 3 in the draft. No chance we trade up for him.

Was that enough roasting?

Sighhhh... I Suppose it'll have to do. I was hoping to get dressed down like I used to when I'd say Gary can't anchor....

Whatever happened to Wu?

IDK, but Gary is out here doing more than anchoring on Thanksgiving

Yeah, he's doing great but Bosa will always be the correct pick.
Nothing so far this has persuaded me that there is any position other than OT for us in round 1. No way would Lynch do it but if it was me and the available talent in the draft justified it, I would take a tackle in both of the firsts two rounds and a centre in perhaps round 4.
Marvin Harrison looks lazy. Seems uninterested in the biggest game of the year. Michigan picked it off right in front of him and he just stood there. The announcer even said he didn't try to fight for it. Didn't even try to make the tackle either.

He may be the most talented player in the draft but he don't look like a dawg to me!!!

I like that RT from BYU, Kinsley (can't remember his last name right now) but I'd take him in the 1st then a Guard/Center in the 2nd, perhaps the kid from TA&M Layden Robinson. But this depends on how Ambry Thomas holds up for the rest of the season, cause I wouldn't mind them taking JiAyir Browns old teammate Kalen King but he may go in the 1st round too.

Kingsley-Suamataia-OL-BYU

He looks interesting and probably will be there at 32 or require a small trade up. Looks like he might need a year or two to develop before seeing if he could be a starter at LT or RT.
This draft has a f**k ton of good OL prospects, if they don't come away with multiple OL players I'll be disappointed.

I'd say your draft is more likely to happen than Kyle drafting multiple OL withing the first few rounds.
