I think teams are going to be worried about his usage and just how much he will have left in the tank a few years down the road. If he wants to play both ways in college thats fine but they need to limit his snap count.
That was clearly one of his best games..... it is one of the few times so far that we have seen him run by defenders.
He has NFL size, so I don't think teams will knock him too badly for competition level.
I still think he is a flag magnet with the way he pushes off. There is a large percentage of his big plays that would simply be offensive pass interference in the NFL with 2 of his highlights in this video clearly showing push offs that would be flags in a fairly ref-ed game. Of course he could end up on the chiefs somehow and that be fine too.
Man the hype on Hunter is off the charts...just watched a sports round table talking about him as BETTER then Charles Woodson (as a college player for the Heisman)
These people have lost their damn mind....
Hunter Takes alot of snaps, he has amazing endurance, he is making a winning impact..team sucks, but Hunter is a PLUS player....he is a really good player....but dude....he is at LEAST a solid Tier below Woodson....
On the college level, comparing Hunter to Woodson is like comparing Brandon Aiyuk to Jerry Rice....yeah Aiyuk will move the chains, and is a really good WR....but Jerry Rice is a threat to score every time he touches the ball.... Aiyuk is not, he is no where near that.
UCF just had a 70-ish yard walk off TD.... Hunter crossed from the far hash...and damn near ran him down....he showed some wheels...had it been from 80 he probably would have caught him....I dont know the exact math...but it appears he made up 30 yards on that...
Just left his dude in zone, and came back to pick off a throw in the flat...dude must have covered 13-14 yards in a second or less...dude exploded forward for the pick..... that is a wow play...

But they won't, they'll over think it then draft a TE.
Yeah, this will(rightfully so) be a trenches draft. Between Hargreaves, Beal, and Drake Jackson not panning out, there's little optimism for the future along the DL.
