My guess is he'll be used more on defense than offense in the NFL. He'll be facing bigger and faster defenders in the pros and he'll be playing 17 games instead of 12. Deion played both positions but only occasionally.

Someone compared him to Ohtani but Ohtani only pitches every 5 days. The other days he's the DH. Not quite the same workload.

Thefre have been players that played offenseand defense in college but the have always had to settle for one as their prime position.

As for Ohtani he's unusual but there have been players that might have been able to do what he does if the rukes allowed it. Babe Ruth obviously comes to mind. Baseball was played a long time before the DH started in 1973. Even then it was for only one league.There were many pitchers who were starers that were also b good hitters. Certainly good enough to DH if the rue had existed.

It's cool he's a 49er fan, but history shows that we don't like picking known niner fans. But Mustapha was an exception and maybe it's a changing of the tide.

Hunter is going to go top 5 and the Niners have so many holes to fill for depth that I don't think he's even a remote possibility.
