Caleb Williams QB USC Trojans

Lmao - we can all agree to disagree for sure. Caleb's relationship with his parents is vastly different than the one I have with mine and I would presume yours as well. Therefore to be critical for something that happened that you cannot comprehend is absurd. Think about it - if you both were the GM and owner of every NFL team in the league, Caleb would find himself starting a new league in Saudia Arabia.

Relationship with his parents has nothing to do with showing weakness, like Caleb has shown. You say his relationship is different with his parents like you know him then go on to say to be critical for something that happened you cannot comprehend. WTF you're very contradicting.

And for the record, I always knew Caleb was talented, I never questioned that, well maybe his turnovers this past season. But I wouldn't have taken him 1st overall with his red flags that have been brought up. I would've definitely taken him in round 3. So you can GTFO with that GM and owner comment that you just made like you know me and been following my post. Obviously you have some type biased or man crush on Caleb so I leave this argument as it is now.

This thread is so weird. I didn't even realize he had any red flags.

Because he's "different" and peeps that can't comprehend why, believe it is a huge flag, especially considering their personalized belief and understanding of how pro sports work. They respond like this:

You're all emotional over Caleb like "Why are you guys picking on him stop it". You don't even know when and what started this. Do you think it was just his crying to mommy that I had a problem with? Obviously you think its just that since thats the only s**t you brought up.

Sorry if I offended your sweet little Caleb my bad.

I'm thinking Caleb will be a fantasy superstar dark horse - definitely going to take a chance on him earlier than most. 98 ADP? Peeps are definitely sleeping on him.

It's okay, Kolohe. We're not perfect. What else does he do that you have a problem with? Nail polish? Lol. Just 3-5 bullet points summarizing why he's a third rounder in your book if you don't mind. If you don't want to because you already spelled this out in this thread, okay :)

Lol, the fact that you don't know shows your blind bias for him. Nice try though. Go back and read this thread, you know, all the arguments you've missed. All up in someone's kitchen don't know what's cookin.

For me though, attitude and demeanor says a lot about who you are as a QB, especially when things don't go your way. Are you gonna keep fighting or go home and cry to mommy, guess what Caleb did. lol

I was right about Matt Leinart, Alex Smith and Trey Lance. I was wrong about Patrick Mahomes, guess what, so were a lot of NFL coaches and GM's.

These three never cried to Mommy in the stands for all the world to see. I don't get why you are so honed in on this with Caleb, view it as a weakness, and therefore downgrade him as a football player. To each his own. I picked Mahomes btw with my 49er mock. I bumped up my thread in the mock draft forum to keep it alive for more years :)

Sure they didn't, but they all had their cases why I thought of them as a bust, just like how I would've stayed away from Caleb. People get so enamored by athleticism, arm strength and mobility, that they tend to forget poise, processing and overall being a student of the game something's Brock has already shown. Everyone wants the next Mahomes, but not everyone like Mahomes is calm and cool under pressure like he is. I can't stand that f**ker but there's no denying it, he just has that "It" factor. Also I won't say I was right about Aaron Rodgers who I wanted more over Alex Smith, but I did say he would turn into a better Pro regardless of the Jeff Tedford factor.

Why am I so honed in on with Caleb Williams, well for one this is the Caleb Williams thread. Two, people so quick to anoint him as the next-Mahomes because of all his physical traits, I just laugh.

I think the fact he was a high draft pick QB from USC should be more concerning than whether he cries to mommy after games. The best USC in the Super Bowl era was Carson Palmer, hands down.
