Russell was much bigger and couldn't run like Caleb. He also wasn't near as accurate. I think what has scouts drooling is the way he emulates Mahomes with his improvisation. He's much better than Mahomes was at this same period in his career.

Mahomes didn't have the talent that Caleb had in college. Mahomes also couldn't hold the ball as long as Caleb could in college.
