A lot of scouts doubt that. Mahomes is bigger and stronger and more accurate. I don't see generational talent. But no doubt he is good off schedule. How good can he be in the NFL? Who knows? We will find out. I don't think he's Mahomes though.

Bingo. The Russell Wilson's, Kyler Murray type is not generational anymore. I know you're not saying this but I am.

Right now I think he is better off schedule than on schedule. Certainly not as good as Mahomes at either. But he is a very good College player. No doubt about that.

No doubt very good college player but are they gonna let CW be who he is in the NFL (playing wise) I seriously doubt that.

Just cause the defense is playing like s**t and the offense has a hard time sustaining drives, still doesn't mean the defense isn't stacked. They have 7 NFL draft prospects on defense, not to mention Tuli Tuipulotu (2nd round), Drake Jackson and Meki Blackmon (3rd round) when he won the Heisman. Now who did Mahomes have??

Here's a red flag for me that I didn't like about Caleb Williams, after the Utah game that he just sat there looking for pity then headed back to the locker room. A real professional would've gotten up and congratulated the other team as soon as it ended.

That stacked USC defense has given up 572 yards and 52 points at HOME!

Penix and Williams were both solid in this game but the difference was USC's inability to stop the run at all. 316 yards on the ground! Crazy.

The one good thing about CW being a big a deal as he is, Jerry Rice's kid is getting looked at.

I want Rice, and as underused as he is...he might even be available. Not saying that as 49er homer either. Sure I only started watching him because of the CW coverage and the dude is Jerry's kid, but as a possible cheaper draft target....there is a lot to like there.

Again, talent and coaching or execution are different things. 49ers went from 2nd in run defense to 26th in run defense, are you gonna tell me it's a talent thing or a coaching thing??
