With that said, I think they could contribute immediately and give us the flexibility to let Deebo's contract play out. Not on the trade Deebo train but don't think we need two receivers making north of 20 million in this offense. No way they thought Aiyuk would be this good. It's a great problem to have.

With that said, I think both Rice and McCaffery could help elevate this offense and would work well with Brock's game. Rice in the 3rd or 4th. McCaffery in the 4th or 5th. The best part is two smart players on cost controlled contracts for the next 4 years. This team needs an influx of rookies to keep the team sustainable financially and to stay winning.

Honestly it feels like they are both going to be subpar at the next level. Just don't see the spark. Rice is better than his brother but that's not saying much and McCaffrey looks like a special teamer at best. Gore Jr is the only one that I feel good about and thats while taking him no earlier than the 6th round.

In a deep draft, overdrafting guys based on their last name isn't really a great approach.

what are the red flags that you see?

They may not be elite but I don't think they're subpar. I hope they draft Gore Jr.

Day 3 guys (that pick in the 3rd is essentially day 3). So I'm guessing that means you see both as 7th round guys if they are drafted at all. I'm thinking they can be contributors, not stars. Will be interesting to see what happens when the draft goes down because the hype train is in full swing.
